Hi Stephen .... I never used an amp ...... It was recorded ..(Jap "57 Reissue ) STRAT > YAMAHA MAGICSTOMP ECHO PEDAL ( WITH a Charlie Hall EFTP Patch ) > ALTO MIXER > Pc Via Delta 44 soundcard and breakout box.

I started playing in the sixties but only took it up again 5 or 6 years ago ... I am 63. Thanks ...UIts a great hobby .... Derek

Bravo Derek! One of the best covers of this song around. I like the way you don't try and just copy note for note but you put your own interpretation to the basic melody. Your sound is great! I can't make up my mind if it is Hank Marvin with the Twang knob turned down or Eric Clapton with the echo turned up! (I think Clapton uses the same pickup positions you mention). Personally I am a Les Paul fan but if somebody plays a Strat well, then it is always worth a listen.  Cheers mate!

There is noTAB as I work and play by ear. If I had one I would send it to you.

Try and work it out .. it is fairly straightforward and pretty repetitive. If you really get stuck on a part then email me and I can "create" that part for you in a rough TAB.

Derek.... BTW 63 is not too late to learn !! .. I have been playing since I was 10 but I have only been playing seriously since 2005. I had a bad stroke in 1993... its a great therapy. The Wild Theme did not take long to learn. Lots of Practice !!
