i've seen a similar object, yesterday 04/18/09, 20:40pm over Mainz, Germany, as I was driving on the Autobahn. I could observe it for aproximately 1Minute, sitting still in the sky, then it vanished. Anyone have an explanation?
This is pretty obvious. It is a weather balloon or as they call them, wheather station being launched. They are huge an can be seen for long distances. I have seen a few of them. Sorry to disapoint you.
Trust me wruppo, this is a high altitude balloon. I have seen them launched and know what they look like in the sky. Look at pictures of them on google.They range in size, materials, and colors. This one looks to be silver mylar diamond shaped, and reflecting the sun.
No, these weather stations I have seen go up very high and just sit, I don't know exactly how they propell them. And yeah they are more than likely a goverment organization launching them, or they could be private too.

My brother and I saw the same thing in Fresno CA twice always a cloudless sunny day looks like a mirror in the sky a reflection then zoomed off I think could be goverment cameras? test air quality? so many ways to lok at it but whats true
Nice footage... I saw one exactly like it on December of 2006 over Glendale, AZ by the University of Phoenix Stadium. It came from the West, they it flew South, then it went West again until it dissapeared on the distance. I noticed a slow rotation motion, and despite having a diamond shape, it appeared to have had an uneven side, because it would reflect the sunlight on that uneven side. The sighting took approximately 5 minutes around 1pm.
I may have photographed the same object - I have some zoomed-in photos of a UAP hovering over Manhattan taken on October 22, 2007. Just click my name to see the video.
Since this is my video I can answer the question for you. I taped this for 2 or so minutes but Wruppo only shows you a short version of the video for some reason. It shows the object slowly wink out but I never saw it leave. It could have been a plane but I am leaning towards unkown for now. Thx, Rich Giordano
Venus doesnt shine so bright plus in the fall period we cannot c venus like this at all because night comes earlier. Makes u think ones u use ur head.
It could be Venus. I've seen it before, just a ball of light that moves around, something to do with the reflection of the atmosphere combined with the sun's light
nixter1, do you have any pictures of those sun related "natural phenomenon" you talk about? Or are there any pictures on the internet? Because I have never witnessed such thing and I come from a hot country.
This glowing type of object is usually seen when the sun is low in the sky, so I tend to think they may be a natural phenomenon. They also tend to flicker and appear to be rotating.

definately a ufo ,,,,high energy state suggesting plasma/electromagnetic devise.......as seen elsewhere
