I'm a teacher, and watching this I can't help but notice how bad a teacher Mr. Feeney is sometimes. He does not make lessons appropriate to his students, then penalizes students for acting their age. I want to have the impact on my students he has on Cory, but I want to make my regular lessons better than his. Don't hate on me, I love Feeney. I just notice that his teaching is often for comic relief.

@vmuzic I see what you mean. I have always watched the movie "A Christmas Carol" since I was a kid, but I have never read the book until 3 or 4 years ago. It's just that somethings are not for kids until they are older. I've read "The Pilgrim's Progress" and own "A Tale of Two Cities" and "Great Expectations," but if I was a teacher I'd save those for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade.

@vmuzic I always felt like mr feeny's lessons were more geared toward the older audiences who's mature enough to realize what he's talking about and learn from it but sometimes are as ignorant and simple minded as Cory and Shawn. Of course, no REAL 6th grade teacher will ever seriously ask his/her students to think critically
