True, all i see in BF3 is camping in corners/bushes or just running around and gunning like idiots. But thats mainly becuse of that shitty rush mode that support lone wolfing, iv'e seen people with 5.0 kd ratios on battlelog, i doubt any of those people would have that high kd ratios while playing BF2,this mod or conquest in BF3 with 64 people.

@L3gacy01 Purchase the Battlefield 2 Complete Collection, donload both patches 1.4 and 1.5, then download the Project Reality Mod. Bit of a mess about but worth it I should imagine!

I'm downloading the 2nd patch now so shouldn't be long till I'm playng it :)

There is nothing better than coming late home, bought 4 pack of beer, teamspeak or mumble with your friends playing PR. PR has many exciting moments. It has a more unrealistic side which adds more fun to it. <.< Like looking throw a scope of a sniper isn't all hard to manage like in real life. Helicopter propellers can't hit objects. Little things like that which allows the player to have more fun sniping, and have more fun doing tight manuevers through buildings. PR is epic, your ignornace of my comment is not.

Sniping will be more realistic and harder in new 0.95 version, it will be very ballistic. About helicopter propellers, well it is old game engine, you cant do anything about it.

If you're referring to Mosquil's sniping video (w/ ballistics and adjustable scope) that is not PR 0.95 that is his own 2142 mod with Kashan on it. He puts 'TR' in the title if it's his 2142 mod and 'PR' if it's PR BF2.

@theliferulz Depends on the weapon and where you hit. If it's not an immediate kill it causes bleeding which needs to be treated or critical wounds which disable you completely. Medics can revive a wounded player within a certain amount of time, but if there aren't any medics around the player can just give up and die.

The content has increased dramatically in the last 3 years, there's only a couple of stock BF2 guns still in the mod now.

The latest version is 0.91 by the way, plenty of videos of it around.

@shootsniper The realism is mainly in the details, particularly the equipment and assets armies use in real life. The PR developer team includes military advisors who are usually consulted on additions and changes.

The weapon handling, graphics and physics are still limited by the 5 year old BF2 engine but they're compensated by unique game play features and a high level of team work and tactics.

This video is 3 years old by the way, the mod has changed a lot since (new version is 0.91).

Whether you spend much time walking depends on the situation, usually you can get a ride to the objective (or driving/flying yourself).

'Doing nothing' is your choice. The game play is quite complex and varied compared to most shooters, for example you could be commanding the team from a safe distance, flying a fighter jet up in the clouds or fighting infantry in close quarters.

The main differences between this 3 year old version and today's is that most of the content is new and the game play is refined.

This video looks like normal BF2, hardly recognizable compared to PR now.

Virtually no one plays POE2 online anymore, whereas PR is the opposite.

POE2 is still worth checking out if you're generally interested in coop mods though.
