I have run Oblivion successfully on Vista and Win7. Bethesda will not promise that it works or provide support. I would recommend at least 2 GB of memory and at least a 512 MB video card. I even copied my folders from Vista to 7 and picked up right where I left off. I did have to run the Oblivion install program but it went real fast! It may be helpful to install games directly off of the C drive, ie C:\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion. I have mine this way and it works very well.

I got an Oblivion Machinima making question! Is it okay to use scenes in heavily modded areas (like Unique Landscapes) or in Oblivion mods that takes place outside Cyrodiil or the Shivering Isles (like in Elsweyr Deserts of Anequina, Hammerfell or Duke City)? Or should it stay in Cyrodiil and/or the Shivering Isles for the sakes of the XBox 360 and Playstation 3 fans due to scenery/background recognition on the console versions?

@kampfster1 It's a glitch, something to do with having a key pressed when you 'feint death'. In other words, stand still before feinting death. If you must be moving however, set up custom controls with something other than WASD for the forward backward left and right (if only temporarily). This will prevent you from getting stuck.

Also for your reference later on, feint death does NOT WORK with god mode (tgm) on. It puzzled me for a while, did that.

Of course it is. You can't use any of these tools on 360 or PS3. What are you pointing out? That you can't machinimate very well on consoles? That's common knowledge to gamers/machinimators.

It's the same stuff. They both use the same engine, and they are both modded using the same Construction Set. So just use the same commands as the Oblivion ones. They'll work.

If you can't afford FRAPS, Cam Studio is also a good program to use and its 100 percent free (open source) I use both Cam Sudio and BSR. BSR though isn't free. I like the game in window mode so I can also crop the capture box anywhere in the window.

Yeah it is, I play it on Vista. Just make sure you have a proper graphics card and meet system requirements. You also have to run the game as an administrator.

You download the program, open up your Oblivion fold (Right click open file location) then drag all the files that you got from the download and stick them on the first page of your oblivion folder. Then click the .exe and thats it.

I wasnt able to load the clip fully but as far as i can tell the first track is Jin Kazama's 2p bgm from tekken 3 and the song after that is from tekken tag or tekken 4 i think. hearing those songs brings back a lot of memories. Good times ;)
