If you can get the opportunity, listen to the original cut by the Statesmen recorded in 1957 on their first RCA album. It blows all others away! I love the Cathedrals and Signature Sound, but both groups have and are copying (with love, I'm sure) old Statesmen material. And as with most things, the original will always be the best.
