I just ordered my first longboard. It's an arbor bogart of 33 inches. I picked a shorter board because I want to cruise but be able to do sharp turns or tricks to avoid obstacles at the same time, I live in a big city.

I'm pretty good at snowboarding and I'm stoked to get this for the summer, if anybody have any tips or links for this kind of board please reply! :D

expert village won't give you good advice, so I will. Sector9 longboards are of decent quality, though nothing about them is mindblowing or amazing. The decks are pretty good, but the components suck. I would recommend you check on Motionboardshop's website for more info.

Bamboo actually grows much faster than maple so do some research before you start talking bullshit. It is actually the fastest growing plant in the world and can grow about 50 inch a day, where maple only grows 0,6 inch a day. which means bamboo grows 83 times faster than maple.
