  • omg I LOVE SAW!

  • I love horro movies two but the trillagy that was scary and awesome would be the chukcy movies! My favorite was childsplay2 so much deaths and lots of action. Having chucky in you're basement is everyones fear.

  • what do you think about the remake of friday the 13th coming out feb 13 2009

  • The movie that scared me was Pet Cemertary. The first one. The part that I couldnt watch was when the little boy came back and cut that guy in the leg and was coming after him.

  • horable just horable its friday the 13th right now and that mask is a hocky mask

  • ok?

  • Exactly!

  • Look it's David from Scream.

  • to the homo that posted the comment child playe is better that guy is a fucking sackride

  • sleepaway camp for me

  • child,s play best movie

  • Shayne,

Since Brooklyn is almost a year old, do you still think daddyhood times three is all that scary?

    ~Phil

  • Shayne,

I haven't seen a lot of the "terror porn" that is out there (Saw, Black Christmas and stuff like that) or any of the older slasher movies (Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street), so I am not the best judge, but I have seen "Scream" and "Urban Legends 1 & 2" and I think they are awesome. "Sixth Sense" was cool the first and second time you watch it, but when you know the clues and what to expect, it isn't a great watch.

    ~Phil

  • how about the puppet master1-5

  • ooooooooooK this reminds me of my old self this guy needs 2 get out there and change his genre 2 action and comedy and for get the whole horror thing, plus get an emo or goth lady

  • Haha

  • Yeah! I think so too!

  • THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!! I love all the movies you named because they are Awesome!! and when I saw Saw III I officailly named it my favourite trilogy of horror movies!!!

Oh yeah congrats on the new babiie!!!

  • Thanks for the comment. I can't wait for the 4th Saw, but Dead Silence sucked IMHO. Thanks for the congrats!!

  • this is fun. And I have watched all three saws. VId made me laugh. Really, thanks for this. :]

  • Awesome. You are very welcome! Thank you for subscribing too!

  • You rock!! I love the Amityville movies!!

  • Thank you! And those are pretty freaky. The remake was well done, I thought.

  • LOL, great video man, I guess I'm a bit late getting to this but thought it was good. I agree totally with your 5 ways of avoiding death from slasher villains. You never go one vs one, hand to hand ever, and you ALWAYS send your mate outside to see whats going down.

Cheers, and grats on fatherhood III.

  • Better late than never! Thank you. There are so many ways to protect yourself, but those are my favorite... :)

  • I think it's about time we sacrifice this lamb of god. Thank you for your comment. It made my morning!

  • scary movies scare me so i dont like theme!

  • What are your favorite type of movies?

  • my favourite is saw and friday the 13 and nightmare on elm street that is all and congrates on the baby!

  • Hey thanks! Have you seen all three Saws? I love those!!

  • yes I have seen all three saws they scare the crap out of me

  • oo i love that squeky voice thing!! DO it more often!!! please!!!

  • For you, I will! :)

  • this cracked me up

  • mikekeen: Awesome. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) Thank you for watching.

  • dude...the pit and the pendulam is still wild.(edgar allen poe) movie:aliens- dont know whats out there do we? movie that totally sucked: CABIN FEAVER! (i want that time back, bastards!

  • shaddowwalk: Yes that is a good story!

Aliens is pretty good too. And yes Cabin Fever sucked!

It's like they wrote the whole movie for the gun joke.

  • Does it count if you have a predeliction for really old horror films like Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari and Vampyr? They're not really 'scary' per se, but I really like them!

  • DoctorPraetorius: Of course it does! Those are great movies...Well, I haven't seen The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari, but as for the rest...YES!

Thank you for the comment. And thank you for subscribing!

  • hey people check out my videos, they are worth watching and are halarious! 2 videos i have are called "remake of myspace the movie" and "napolean dynamite: mexican version"

  • hey people check out my videos, they are worth watching and are halarious! 2 videos i have are called "remake of myspace the movie" and "napolean dynamite: mexican version"

  • Congrats on the baby,

My favorite scary movie of all time is Phantasm. I can't believe that anyone else hasn't said it yet! Angus Grimm "The Tall Man" he scared the hell out of me as a kid. Also Friday the 13th Part 5 only because my cousin sneaked me in to see it when I was 7. I had nightmares where I woke up in the middle of the night screaming.

  • Jakken001: Thank you very much!

I'll have to check out "Tall man"

And that sucks that your cousin did that! :)

    Thank you for the comment!

  • hey people check out my videos, they are worth watching and are halarious! 2 videos i have are called "remake of myspace the movie" and "napolean dynamite: mexican version"

  • Hey Shayne Great vid but I read through the comments and didn't see any mentions of your poem. Twisted, really twisted. Did you write that or find it somewhere?

As for favs in the horror category, I made sure to see the Sixth Sense at the theatre. The way the ghost scenes were handled scared the crap out of me. Perfect balance of suspense and revelation. The little girl still creeps me out. Im afraid, repulsed and sympathetic at the same time. Which makes me want to strangle the stepmother

  • vipre60000: Thank you very much about the poem. I wrote that! I have a dark written style. I think since I do comedy I have to have an outlet for my dark side!

I agree about the Sixth Sense! Thank you for the comment.

  • First off...Congratulations Daddy!...again. Don't be too scared, you've already got two...you should be a pro by now.

  • Secondly. I'm not very qualified to talk on the horror movie front; I don't generally watch them. But, I have to say that I love M. Knight Shymalan's films, "The Sixth Sense", and "Signs" were the scariest to me.

Oh, and I liked the new "Dawn of the Dead", with Ving Rhames.

Not as scary, but terrifically funny and gory..."Sean of the Dead". I love British comedy.

  • Kazuldra: All very awesome picks. The new Dawn of the Dead wasn't that bad and I thought the scene in Signs when you first see the alien at the birthday party was one of the scariest moments in a movie (To me) ever!

  • Kazuldra: Yeah, you would think that...Right!? :) Thank you very much!

  • congrats on the kid

  • nickg79: Thank you very much. I really appreciate that!

  • the new hills have eyes sucked total balls, really gay and retarded.

  • johnjohnson77: Gay AND retarded? LOL That does sound like it sucked. Thank you for the comment and thank you for subscribing.

Glad you found me on Youtube!

  • you're cool. I'm subscribing.

  • londonlondonbridge: Thank you very much. And I appreciate you subscribing! :)

  • me too

  • stay alive!!! was soooooooooooo stupid

  • pinkdragonfly84: I heard about that movie, so not even good at all huh? I heard that the game inside the movie was more freaky than the movie...Do you agree?

  • hostel was awesome, the atmosphere captured in the torture rooms was grim, i loved it

  • shimmer1972: I thought the last hour was pretty creepy, but the setup was a bit long for me. Thank you for your comment. :)

  • great vid 5 stars from me

  • freeforall9: Thank you man. I appreciate it. How are you? How is life?

  • omg the last bye ending was so funny wat were u using 2 make that blood

  • ilikenintendo2005: LOL Thank you. It was just cheap blood from the store. It was heavy stuff. It made my skin chap a little.

  • lol

  • You didn't mention my favorite Horror movie... Rosemary's Baby....

Check it out. Any horror fan needs to have seen this classic.

  • 5and10: OHHHH! Yes, that is a great one. Creepy and very dark. Nice one! I forgot about it!

Thank you for the comment and for subscribing. I appreciate it!

  • My favourite horror is 'Mr In-Between'

My girlfriend was physically sick while watching it.

That's the benchmark of a true horror.

  • Rangifulla: I'm not sure I have ever even heard of it. I'm going to check it out right now!

    Thank you for the comment.

  • Candyman scared me as a kid. Congrats on the big news. Can't wait for your halloween vid!

  • blazemore: Candyman is one of my all time favorites and I even think the second one is pretty good. Never saw the third I don't think. Have you ever seen Pumpkinhead?

Thank you very much and you will like the halloween one! Well, maybe...

  • Nah what's pumpkinhead like?

  • Blazemore: It's been awhile since I've seen it. But I remember the first one to be scary...Can't tell you much details, but it was freaky!

He looked like a scarecrow with a pumpkin head...

  • congrats on the scary news. :)

  • healingnetwork: Haha. Thanks for making it to the end or near the end man...I'm honored and impressed. :)

Thanks for the comment. How are you? Any new episodes coming up? We are all waiting with baited breath.

  • Your a pretty cool vlog guy man thing

    ;D

  • Hallman: Awesome. Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • I didn't like Friday the 13th as much as nightmare on Elm Street

Blair witch did not scare me :/ lol

    Saw was Sahweet

Finally The Ring scared me for about a month, my god. Heh I guess that weird Japanese "things that don't make sense" really scare me.

    Congratz on another birth lol

  • pancakemastr: Thank you for the congrats! I appreciate it, and thank you for commenting and letting me know what you think... :)

  • I liked the new ideas from the movie Jeepers Creepers, and while the second film had like an hour of pure crap, there were some parts that seriously reminded me of the Freddy movies, and were seriously worth putting up with the crap IMHO. I also liked the original Final Destination -- hated the second two.

  • I'm really tired of all the horror movies coming out lately, though -- movie studios taking advantage of the fans pisses me off -- so many of these new movies are just crap! They aren't worth a damn, and it makes me mad.

Basically, I like horror movies that present entirely new ideas or change around old ones, because I want to see something new, not another rehash.

  • Stoudman: I agree about Jeepers Creepers. The first one to me was very dark and gritty and the second one was just AWFUL. See I like the Final Destination movies because of the twist and deaths...Not because it scares me!

I love NEW twists in Horror movies and not the same old rehash!

  • What did you think of Hostel? have u seeen it?

  • sofman7: You know I really didn't like it. Didn't hate it, but it was just missing something.

    Did you see it yet?

  • the 1st inst in it because its mgms

  • the 1st inst in it because its mgm

  • he 1st inst in it because its mgms

  • TheMikesterator: Oh really? So they don't have the rights to put it in there then? That sucks!!

  • haha, that was funny and good.

Well my favourite:riday the 13th, some movies of it pretty sucked but it was funny.

Your right, cabin fever sucked, I watched it last night.

  • timtwo12: Thank you and yes!

And yes it does suck. So was it on tv or did you rent it last night?

  • It was on tv

  • Cool!

  • great video! Congrats on the baby Shayne!!! That is awesome. You seem like such a cool dad anyway. I have two girls and I know you'll have a blast having a girl. LOL Good luck!!

  • Missno8: Thank you very much. We are pretty excited...

A little nervous with the big move with 3 kids and 3 dogs, but hey, life is about risks.

  • lol brilliant, but you think you have problems with your boxsets then check this out, i went into a store and a texas chainsaw massacre DVD was there for £10 but there was also a boxset with the DVD in and the boxset was also £10 so i bought the boxset LOL...this Vlog was great Many Congratulations Dad of 3!

  • Masterecords: You got yourself a great deal on the box set then didn't you! Awesome!

And thank you very much, I appreciate it.

  • I really liked the Final Destination trilogy, the deaths in those were awesome... Oh and 'Event Horizon' is probably the scariest film I've ever seen, it's a scifi/horror, scared the hell out of me.

Congrats on the new baby coming your way man :)

  • kaoru392: I agree about Final Destination...Love the deaths, just not that scary. The movies were great though. I think I like the second one the best.

    Thank you very much!!

  • I think for me the scariest bit of the Final Destination trilogy is in the 2nd one when there's the shadows showing the 'man with claws', and then what it actually turns out to be is kinda lame. :P

  • kaoru392: I agree! I like it in the 3rd one when the dude gets his head sawed off by the truck engine. I didn't see that coming.

  • Oh yeah and grats on the baby!!! And haha your youngest son ran in when you were screaming like he was wondering what the heck was going on haha (rewatch to see), and what was that blood made of?(don't know why all of this was cut off :-( )

  • Nick: Hahaha. Yeah, I did notice my son. That is why I left that so long. I was going to cut it right after the scream but I saw him run up and I thought it was cute. :)

The blood was some cheap stuff I bought at the Halloween store. Not stage blood...It burned my face! CHEAP CRAP! LOL And thank you about the baby.

  • rofl its protective!!! nice vlog haha.

  • NickReinhartVideos: LOL Yeah. Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • Last night (the 13th) I went to Guts Church for NIGHTMARE in T-Town. I had gone expecting something differnt from last years Nightmare but it wasnt. I was tottally dissapointed in the fact that there was absolutly no change in it whatsoever. I figured "hey its friday the 13th, this should be theyre big night! But it wasnt. It was cool but i knew what was coming. Shayne you ever been to Nightmare? If not i would go just to check it out. Its pretty cool if you havnt gone.

  • sandlercd: I have never been. I knew a guy in high school that played Jesus on the cross for a few years there, but I have never gone. I've seen pictures and heard stories.

It's pretty freaky though, right? That sucks that they didn't change it from last year!

  • Yeh it is freaky. I used my biggest defence mech, i smiled the entire time. Just to TRY and not seem to freaked. The first time i went i was truly freaked. I would tottally go if you havnt gone. I dont want to give any of it away. It was 30$ for me and my g/f to go with Express passes. Im not sure how much it is for normal tickets but the passes lets you tottally skip the lines wich is GREAT.

  • Sandlercd: Sounds like fun! Maybe I can go before they close!!

  • There goes ur dissapearing kid again lol! Creepy!!! Anyways hav you ever heard of a condom? lol! Yeah it works! Mean 3 kids in the US! Man that's scarry! Wat's ur work I hope ur not an aspiring actor bcoz it nver gets anywhere lol!!

  • kris2pe: Ha! Inspiring actor, of course not. It's worse. I'm an inspiring comedian/actor! OH GOD!

Condom? Hmm, I think I have heard of one...But I don't think I like them...

Thanks for the comment...And yes that crazy kid is MAGICAL.

  • Gud luck! :S Wats ur day job aside from being an aspiring actor/commedian?

Anyways my favorite horror movie is The Ring series (The Japanese one!).

I don't like the "I know wat u did last summer" horror movie. Its stupid!!!

  • kris2pe: Well right now I work for UPS and have been there for 8 years. But when we move I am going to be working for my dad and most likely will be doing comedy/auditioning FULL time. So hopefully I'll get that, right place/right time moment.

  • The Thing the Kurt Russell one

Dawn of the Dead the original, remake wasn't that bad

Invasion of the Body Snatchers the Leonard Nimoy one

The Toxic Avenger (just kidding Melvin the Mopboy is my hero)

These are a few of my favorites.

    These

  • yousankmybattleship: Nice picks!

The Toxic Avenger is great. Not a horror, but great. I love that one. I haven't thought about that in years. AWESOME!

Thanks for the comment, but what is the last word on this comment mean...

    These?

  • I have no idea. That wasn't there when I checked it over right before I posted it.

  • This is a conspiracy!

  • It's all tied into the New World order and the take over of our cherished Saturday morning cartoons!

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • Cabin fever was ace

  • TheMikesterator: Please tell me you are kidding!? Please!

    LOL

  • I hate horror movies. Totally. But for the record, while I was on my way to a death claim yesterday, a black cat crossed my path. I thought that was funny. When I was a kid "Fantasia" caused nightmares.

ScrewTube messed up with the comedian account.

Name the baby contest maybe??? Congratulations!!!

    (((hugs))) VK Out!

  • ViloetKitty411: LOL Fantasia? Aww, that's funny. Sorry!

And yes, stupid Screwtube messed it all up. And I wish my videos and emails and such wouldn't travel back in time every 5 minutes.

Thank you, about the baby. And no, if it is a girl we already have the name.

    Thanks VK!

  • I love zombie movies, Dawn of the Dead, Night of the living dead, Braindead, etc. Besides that I'm really into Japanese films, Like the Ring, and 3 Extremes, and things like that. I also thought Thirteen was cool.

I had no idea you were a horror movie fan! :O

Once I get a battery for my camera, I'mma record drawing you something.

A baby girl..Aww! If I had a girl, I'd name her Evangeliene. So pretty. Good luck with her.

You rock Shayne, the endings were insane and my favorite part <333 5/5

  • Donnerstag: Great picks on the zombie movies and I'm going to have to check out 3 Extremes...Have you seen the original Jap Ring movie?

Yes I am a huge horror fan!

    Can't wait for the drawing.

Thank you very much about the baby. I appreciate it. And thank you about the video and the endings. Always something different! :)

  • Scary Movies- It & High Tension (its french, but it became really popular in the US- so freaking scary!!!)

i do not watch a lot of vlogs as i get really bored after 5 mins, but you helpd my attention for 9!! that is actually incredible! keep up the great work!

  • xgobobeanx: I am truly honored to have kept your attention for that long. I try and change topics or ideas about every minute or two to try and keep it interesting. Doesn't always work, but I am glad that you stayed. Thank you for the comment and thank you very much for watching. I'm honored!

I'll have to check out High Tension.

  • BTW, Rob Zombie is remaking John Carpenter's Halloween...as we all know, nothing is sacred...tsk tsk tsk...

  • thefrozenghost: That may actually be kind of cool though. If, if, IF he actually doesn't stray to far from the story. But with a new perspective it might be kind of cool.

I agree though, is nothing sacred!?

    Grindhouse looks AWESOME!

  • What were they thinking when they made Halloween 3 without Michael Myers? It was like having Friday 13th without Jason or a Childs Play movie without Chuckie. Insane.

  • jackzter: Haha! Great call. Yeah I know what you mean. But to be technical, the first Friday the 13th didn't have Jason in it. LOL Well, not the KILLER Jason, but you are right. :)

    Thanks for the comment.

  • I don't like scary movies or any scary stuff. LOL But your poem is haunting.

  • Haynes1994: Ha. Do they freak you out, or are they just not your style?

Thank you very much for the comment on the poem.

  • They totally freak me out!!!

  • LOL :) Great Video! Congrats on the baby!

  • SmplyChel: Thank you very much, I appreciate it. And thank you on the baby. It should be fun...

  • Just so many to even start naming. Texas chainsaw is really great. I noticed that its comming out at the movies, The Beginning hey didnt that just come out a couple of yrs ago also? whats up? hmmm

  • candlenerd: They "re-made" the first one a couple of years ago and it wasn't good at all!!! And yes the new one came out last week and it is supposed to be the prequel to all of them. I'd really like to check it out and hope to soon.

    Thanks for the comment. :)

  • I saw Eraserhead and I am still not sure what I was acctualy watching. It may be old but its scary in the WTF way.

    Silent hill too

  • AskTheTyrant: Yes Eraserhead is a favorite of video store clerks. They say it's a cult classic, but it is just not my style. I'm with you, WTF!

I need to see Silent Hill. I love the games but haven't seen the movie yet!

    Thanks for the comment man!

  • My Favorites are: Children of the Corn Cujo Christine Witchboard Carrie A Nightmare on Elm Street 1 3 & 4 Friday the 13th 1 & The Final Chapter which this is 4 Psycho The Silence of the Lambs The Last House on the Left I think are all great films. Most family's watch "Family movies". My family watched Horror Movies.
  • Bigmada: I've seen all of those and I have to agree with nearly all of them. Nightmare 1 3 and 4 huh? What about New Nightmare? I thought that was the BEST one until the very end when they tried to get all "old" Freddy on it.

And I love JASON GOES TO HELL. Not for scary, just because I enjoy the movie. Freedy vs Jason! Oh yeah! I'm a horror freak!

  • Congrats on the baby

  • matty123986754: I'm going to start typing Matty when I am repsonding to you...LOL...I can never find all those numbers. What does that stand for by the way?

Thank you very much for the comment. And thank you very much for watching as always!

  • Ive only seen The 6th Sense, because I'm not allowed to see any other ones "because I'm just a kid". But the 6th Sense was pure awesomeness. I really want to see Dark Water and one of the Rings.

  • Pixerl: "Just a kid" huh? Well, soon enough you will be sneaking into all those R rated movies and then you let me know which ones freak you out.

    Have you seen Signs?

  • Bits of it. All that I managed to see until I wasn't allowed to watch anymore.

I like watching tv murder mysteries. :)

  • congrats on number three girls change you forever

  • nope, it was when I changed forever that I started liking girls, i.e., puberty

  • Thedispatcher: LOL Thanks my friend. Yeah, it will be an adventure.

  • i can't stand horror movies they freak me out

  • i'm surprised! you don't like horror films? i figured you, of all people, would love scary movies!

  • thedispatcher: I agree with cmartyn. I'm surprised you don't like them...

  • Any of the Evil Dead movies,The Grudge,Stay Alive, Silent Hill,The Fog, Dog Soldiers...some of the better ones..I've seen too many. The worst ones were The Curse, Dark Water,The Ring2.

  • ucntcme1: Great picks...Evil Dead, yes! The original Jap Grudge movie is better than the remake to me. Haven't seen Stay Alive yet! Dog Soldiers...I'll check it out.

    Haven't seen your worst!

  • Horror movie favorites: Picture of Dorian Gray(193os), Phantom of the Opera(1930s), and too many modern ones to mention. I prefer the magical supernatural types to just serial murderers. But you are right about the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the original was best. And we have the whole Chucky series so far. ner ner :P

  • Gigolo8: LOL Ha! I'll have to check out Dorian Gray. I know the story, but never saw that movie. Yeah, Chucky is just fun in my eyes. Not scary though...

Thanks again my friend for all the awesome comments!

  • Yup, even my kids piss themselves laughing through the Chucky ones LOL

  • Gigolo8: Haha. I bet. What about the first one? I think that is pretty freaky and scary.

  • Some of my favorite scary movies are: Misery, The Haunting, The 6th Sense, It, Secret Window (only good to watch once), What Lies Beneath..and I can't think of any other good ones right now. I'm picky. My least favorites are(these are all just dumb and really stupid): The Ring, Lady in the Water, The Grudge, The Birds, Chuckie (all of them! sorry, i know you like them), and Hills Have Eyes. I'm sorry, I probably mentioned some movies you like.

  • Gigolo8: I like the first one and thought the other childs plays were just funny! Great picks on the movies...Misery is awesome. I loved Lady In The Water! Hmm, Thanks for the comment my friend.
