  • Also, Dr Philippa Darbre is a woman... do your research!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. It really saved me time in deciding never to use products manufactured by Dermalogica.

  • also dermalogica is simply amazing and sure there are a lot of bad things in the environment and in everything we use that have made its way in our body..but why not please the public buying your products and switch to a safer preservative? I would feel better buying these products for fam members. but either way, i heard Dermalogica is re-formulating. can't wait!

  • strangely i wouldve felt more comfortable if howard had looked at the camera instead of wurwand while speaking about parabens...just looked like she was unsure too.

  • wtf is that lady wearing? it looks like a potato sack.... and her boobs are ultra saggy. lmao thought i'd point that out..

  • Still parabens are bad for you! Companies may think its ok since they don't use that much paraben in thier product, but still count up all the products you use with litle parabens, it still adds up to an unhealthy amount!

  • Btw look what I found one the Livestrong website:

"Grape seed extract and essential oils such as cinnamon, eucalyptus, lavender, lemon and tea tree are natural alternatives to synthetically produced parabens. These natural ingredients provide protection against the growth of harmful microorganisms and bacteria that lead to product contamination."

So why are parabens absolutely needed then? What no natural alternative? Say what? ;)

  • I still prefer to use as little parabens as possible. It's in shower cream (sometimes), shampoo (sometimes), day cream, skin cleanser, handcream, ...

I don't know. I just want to absorb as little parabens as possible in my body. Can't go wrong with that, can you?

And I have never had funghi in my creams without parabens ;)

(btw: methylparaben is said to make you skin age faster! I don't want that! :s)

And parabens are always found in tumors, so I do believe there is a link...

  • many products do not contain parabens, im shocked that dermalogica insists to use them...

this was my one reason for going to nudeskin there products are as pure as they can be, i personally do not want to take the risk as there could be a possibilty .. there are alot of options to eliminate parabens shopping at wholefoods ensures products are paraben free.

a good discussion but i feel parabens should be removed from cosmetic products for sure.

  • Excuse me, but there are plenty of natural preservatives used in paraben free products. And parabens won't stop bacteria from growing, I used to use paraben containing things that definitely went bad when they got germs in them. I'm sorry, but this video is in no way going to convince me to ever going back to using anything with parabens again. Synthetics are never better than something all natual. This is not a pro-paraben video, it's a marketing campaign.

  • @leighsiergie Natural does not necessarily mean good for the human body...

  • Wow, 5:42. The scientists and skin care formulators should never demean the public ! Dont act like the science behind the paraben scares isnt amassing quickly. But I am most shocked by the audacity to attack peoples fears as irrational. Hmmm

  • Very interesting
