It's called "The Merciful One" by Zohar and I first heard it off the BDSS's "American Bellydancer" soundtrack. Great song and lovely interpretation by Urban Gypsy! Just beautiful!
for the first part i felt like i was watching priestesses, like i was allowed to almost be part of a moving prayer. from the greetings onwards it was so pretty it actually made me cry... [which alleviated the sinus headache, yip!] that was a very beautiful, moving performance, and reminds me why i like being a broad, and why i LOVE dance!! namaste, blessings and biscuits, thank you!

I own that album and just listened to it, and I don't think so. Unless it was somehow one of them altered for tempo and I don't recognize it.

Why would anyone laugh? Bellydance is very mystical and can be (and often is) a very spiritual experience.
