  • Looks like 1983.

I rather use my iPhone for all these things.

  • where can i buy this ?? i would love to have m m3 doing all this ! this is awsome

  • next time i'm travellin to the USA i'm bringin some of these car mats back home because i'm from germany and those mats with the BMW tag are only for export cars so u can't get them in germany

  • @ginjopowder: The computer is located in the trunk... it is almost the same size and fit into the same location of where the CD changer usually goes...

  • where the computer at?

  • How did you do this ? How did you install this System in your NAV-System?

    Amazing awesome !!!!!!

  • Holy sheep shit! THIS IS HOT. bud, hit me up..I need to do this. My 330ci still looks too stock and I don't feel as sexy as you ;)

  • HOW THE FUCK DID YOU DO THIS?

  • This is running on Windows XP

  • what O.S are you using in here?

  • U live near emlenton pa? That fire whistle sounded familiar

  • I have a 2005 330Ci, this is perfect, exactly what i'm looking for. I just don't know where to look for a Car Pc and what model i should get, if you could help i would greatly appreciate it.

  • where can i get this?

  • austin powers....fuck yea baby

  • to the head unit at the same time?i mean do you have the bmw factory nav computer in the trunk connected to the nav screen in the dash and the computer connected to the nav screen at the same time?or are you using nav software loaded onto your pc with a usb gps reciever?or both with a switch or are they daisy chained together?

  • what did you use to interface the pc with the factory nav head unit?and is it connected to the pc via vga,or dvi?and did you make the interface cable yourself,or did you buy it,and if you bought it whats the name of it and where can i get one?i doubt its composite, and does the interface plug into the nav from behind the head unit ,or somewhere in the trunk?,and why not use front end software like riderunner?and are you still using the factory bmw nav computer in the trunk?if u r r both conected

  • how do you connect the windows pc to the nav with the cam bus .ibus connector ,did you make your ownn connection or can you buy one,i remember a similar product by a company called tv on nav but they went out of busniess,so can it display engine data and error codes? and does it access the bmw built in mic ? why not add voice recognition?and does it have blue tooth, and would you be able to access engine data from the cam bus/ibus,or do you need to connect to the service port under the st wheel?

  • car2pc is the system?

  • whats the name of this car Pc?

    is this the Nav. professional?

  • Your extremely lucky to have a BMW 3 series equipped like that, its very very very rare to find a 2002-2006 BMW 325ci and 330ci coupe equipped the way yours is in this video, the majority of them dont even come with the navigation system. This one is far from being a dime a dozen, its perfect and very well maintained for the year. The car looooooooooooks great!!!!

  • Do you have the Bluetooth voice command option enabled?

This is great work by the way. I just did a nav retrofit with bluetooth voice command and sirius, aux, ipod but your work is incredible

  • HHi, please! could you send me the link of webpage or the contacts of the installer , my bmw have a LCD and MK4 GPS, I belive is the same equipment you present on the youtube

    KR,

    Carlos

    Portugal

  • I have an E46 330i and the only performance item I have is the Signature Motoring performance CAI for about $160. The performance kit adds around 13.5HP on the dyno, sounds freaking great, and installs in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

    -13.5 HP increase

    -Lifetime filter

    -SOUND AWESOME

    -30 min. install time

Aside from the power gain, the SOUND is amazing at higher RPM but sounds normal in regular driving. I’m thinking about added high-flow exhaust next.

  • Hi... thats great !!! i got the same monitor but i dont have any of your options in it!

what should i do to get this DVD options and Internetconnection, what should i buy . I have a 330d 2003 model in same colour like yours ;) but i can just use gps,AudioCd with changer in the back and cassette ... Please tell me the secrets to get all this stuff ;) maybe with some weblinks

  • Have you done a DIY write up on this anywhere? I'd love to see more detail in how you did it all. Very impressive...great work!

  • Ciao, magari non cxapisci l'italiano ma io ci provo comunque, potresti dirmi dove si può trovare un sistema cosi?

  • that's why i drive BMW!!! just GREAT

  • Very cool! where can i find details of the hardware youve installed here??

For those of you guys who dont have the monitor already, it is a big job to retro fit, but it is possible - i know becasue i retro fitted BMW OEM sat nav in my '55 E46 330cd. it does involve removing the passenger seat and the rear seats and much of the interior, but it is possible, and all the parts you need can be purchased from ebay.

  • I hate that this is a "factory only" option. If your car didn't come with one, it's almost impossible to put one in. It must be hard because my local dealership won't even attempt it. Guess I'm going aftermarket.

  • What software is used to run this? Is the BMW theme one you made or is it readily available somewhere...I want this setup!

  • great!!! what are these buttons for on the trunk? on 5:41 ? thanks

  • Those are just factory stickers that indicate that the car was pre-wired for BMW Alarm system and BMW CD Changer. They are not functional for anything.

  • oh, got it tnx! =)

  • That's Awesome!! I've got an '03 E46 and have been wanting to do some mods to it. I LOVE what you've done and would love to get the info on how to do what you've done and all the capabilities I can use. I'm really looking for nav, mp3, videos, bluetooth, and the net. I was looking at a all-in-one Kenwood system, but I like yours better. If you could, I'd appreciate discussing the options with you. Thanks.

  • sorry but i dont understand.

i have the radio K7 i want to change it for a system like that; but there is no space like that. how is it possible to do that???

    ty

  • Hi, i'd like to install on my car bmw 320 E46 NAV with MKIV the same PC system, that you present on youtube. Where can find someone to help me on?

    regards,

    CP

  • Hi, I have a 330d with a large built in 2003 but my navi menu is not like you can do it??

  • @aldiarbeiter

My menus are slightly enhanced because of the BMW TV Module... When you connect it, you get the TV OPTION

  • Hello i own a 325i 2004 i have a regular casette business of bmw i would like to go for this modification can you help me out

  • @DRHAMMAM

Do you have the navigation screen? it should work if there is a cassette behind the navigation

  • i would like to first thank u for having the time and effort to answer my question very nice of you .

no what i have is a cassette only and i want to replace it with a screen with some of the options that u have how can i find it and what to do

  • I would not recommend you attempt to install BMW factory navigation retrofit into a car that doesnt have it... its a really really big job. You may want to consider something else though

goto MP3Car {DOT} com and search for custom dash with Xenarc screen... there is a guy there that made a really good solution that you will like.

  • hey where can i find the same bmw pc for my E46???

  • Just wow!

  • @vladimire

    THANKS!

  • nice video chief, i have a 2003 m3 smg with the navi, but after 80k miles of use its now old, and a cd is stuck on the unit, im thinking about getting rid of it and buying that $750 unit thats kind of like the oem one, but i dont knwo if i will loose the can bus comunicaiton like my mpg gauge and other computer info... what are your thoughts on an after market unit? or should i repair this one i got and try out a carputer like you? btw wat kind firmware do you have or wat OS for the car pc?

  • @dinuka911

There are many reasons why that could happen. You can PM me (or email me direct) with your configuration and we can discuss further if you like.

I had a similar problem when I first installed the system, but what I found was that the grounding link to the backup camera input was loose, and the relay I was using to trigger it too small gauge... I put a thicker gauge grounding line, and I higher rated relay to resolve my similar issue.

    hope this helps!

  • hey mate,

sorry to bother you, i need some help to do this conversion to my car. I've been trying to connect my mini pc through gps system but cant get the picture to stay still since I'm using a VGA to RGB converter. and also i'm losing the menu's to go to tv,on board comp, gps. ANY HELP would be appreciated..

  • @ dinuka911

Unfortunately, I already sold the full system to another user. Hope he is enjoying!

  • hey really nice set up..how much r u asking for the wiring set up u used in this system..?

  • nice work on this set up. . how much r u asking for the modified wiring harness kit..?

  • What is the performance package??

  • ZHP

  • Almost a M3

  • to control the computer/pc system did you use the obd diag bus signals, with the obd you can use the oem steering controls aswell, I've set up something similar that also gives real time diagnostics information and performance logs and graphs, but I was just wondering about the control system you used.

  • Thats just awesome how You've integrated all that without spoiling the factory looks. Congrats

  • does it have aux for Ipod?

  • Comment removed

  • why not touchscreen

  • The goal was to have the interior and dashboard be as "factory issue" as possible.

Touch screen is very cool though... maybe for my next project :)

  • thats a really nice ride bro

    nice j

  • Great vid what items u need to start all this and what interface did u use.

  • @Traydoggz ... its a complicated process.. Just sold my system as I no longer have this car. You will need a small form factor low power PC, a video input module or TV module, and a lot of patience to install!!

  • Thanks for the info sdellutri.

  • Great vid and awesome system. How can I get that installed in my E46?

  • Are you willing to do this installation on my 04 330ci for a price. Yours came out awesome.

  • Where are you located?

  • Awesome. I don't have a BMW TV tuner. I have the CD changer, DVD Navigation, voice module, do i have the blue connector for the tv tuner hidden some where? Or what other interface can I use for the video? I have 2005 330XI in the USA.

  • @millionairewes - The TV Tuner connects into the system by way of a wire harness the plugs in between the Nav Computer and the Nav DVD. If you are interested, I am selling mine with the cables. Make me a reasonable offer, and its yours :)

  • Hi its very nice integration. Can u plz let us know what model of mini-ITX are you using and other parts name that you have used to complete this integration. Because I have 2003 330ci with factory navigation same as yours and I would like to do the same integration, Its so cool
