I agree that abortion is not right. I think a lot of people may agree that it is not right. However,I feel that although abortion is a wrong act, the women that chose to do it should have the right to chose it just like they have other rights.

In the end, they will have have to answer to God for their choices like all of their other choices in life.

I undertans your view, however My point is this with The issue of Choice/Right....1 IF a woman CHOSE not to have sex or 2 CHOSE to prevent pregnancy with protection then she would not have to 3 CHOOSE to abort/excercise her right to abort the baby. WE must realize there are CONSEQUENCES to our actions and it seems like the world is coming to the place more and more where IT DOES NOT CARE b/c there is a quick fix for everything with no remorse.

You are preaching to the choir on this one. However, change has to start on another level; with the young, teaching chastity and abstinence, responsibility and consequences. The world has come a long way from the time when abortion and even pregnancy outside of marriage was frowned on. Even then though it happened, but may have been kept a secret or in some cases people died trying to prevent public knowledge. There is no quick fix so taking away the right to chose is not the answer.

My fear is what will happen to these children if irresponsible women do have them and what if they don't chose to give the child up for adoption or somethin? Will the child come on this earth to suffer?I cringe and sometimes cry when I see these children harmed by people who obviously did not want these children and did not love them. They will also have to answer to God for this also. Sad that it causes a loss of life, but, I don't think taking away rights is the answer bcuz it doesn't stop it.

Who will teach the young? The young people are learning it from Society and the older people. Well, we will have to agree to disagree on this. There are alot of things we have "a right to" these days but it still doesnt stop me from taking a stand and choosing not to participate and just flat out saying NO, I dont accept it. u fortunately have the choice. u can choose to not participate in things we have "a right to." therefore, others should have "a right to" choose if they want an abortion or not. the reason people jump to extreme cases when setting examples for "pro-choice" is that these cases will also lose the right. If your 13 yr old daughter got raped by a pedifile/murderer/psycho, she should have the rigt to choose if she wants to carry that child. Why should she be made to add insult to injury?

Just like a heroin addict, it's illegal to buy this drug they do it anyway...and that's exactly what people will do. If it was illegal doctors will still perform them and just charge more money. Again I don't believe it's right to have one, but end the end God is going to judge us so the women having the abortions, the doctors, and the men out there forcing women to have them with all be punished in the end. We have to instill morals into our children we can't leave it up to politicians

I AGREE 100% couldnt have said it better myself! "Morals" today is a word long forgotten. Some of the old people would turn over in their graves at the state of the world today. People are blinded (by the enemy)and loving every minute of it!

Yes, parents need to instill morals in their children. Parents forget, when they are gone the children will be the ones living in the world that we help to create by our decisions. I'm concerned for my children and their children if the world keeps going the way that it is.

Great post! I do agree with the fact that abortion is wrong, I would never have on myself. However, I do believe women should have the right to choice. Reason being...they are going to do it anyway. Before it was legal to get abortions women were going to butcher shops in people's basements to have abortions. Women were mutilated and butchered having these procedures done by men that had no medical training and would die due to the complications of an improper abortion.

So before you think it is safe to have an abortion under the current status...think again! Oh and as for choice...ALL women have a choice. They can choose not to have sex at all.
