  • ...everybody makes tax increases when they have to do so, but he also cut when he could and doubled tax deductions. He pardoned over 1000 criminals. Let's see, do you know anything about the people he pardoned and the reasons that they were pardoned? I'm talking about facts here, not speculation about getting money, etc. Do you have any idea if they were properly tried, what kind of evidence they were found guilty on, etc.? I don't know any of these things about the criminals...

  • aprillh: All I've seen from you is tearing down of Huck on Every video I've seen on here. I could be wrong, but I think that you're in Romney's campaign. You talk about facts and looking at the past, but you aren't looking at anything from an objective perspective. Huck constantly talks about having a closed borde;, does NOT support amnesty (but does agree that there are ways to integrate illegals, which only makes sense b/c most people in the nation stem from immigration to begin with)...

  • I like Mike. He has my vote. I love his position on Taxes. That alone would make me vote for him. I am not stupid enough to think that he would be allowed to implement his tax plan just because he was elected president, but we would be going in the right direction. I think he is another Ronald Reagan.

    3. Prevent Amnesty Policies that promote or tolerate amnesty 

    4. Enforce the Law on Employers

    7. Ensure Document Security End exemptions for Mexicans and Canadians to the US-VISIT program,

    8. Discourage Dual Citizenship

    9. Modernize the Process of Legal Immigration

  • So when Bill Clinton said "I worked harder on this tax cut for the middle class than I have ever worked in my life" what did you believe then? Presidents are only one fourth of our government system. Presidents can influence and approve but they cant just go in and make it happen other than by executive order. Will Huck make all this work? Maybe not but I believe he will enforce the will of the people to the best of his ability.

  • I dont like everything about Bush either and I agree that scholarships for immigrants is wrong as well as illegal. I am in the process of putting son #2 through school. I am well aware of the cost. I think that some of the details of Mike's platform are still in the formation stage. At least he has positions. We have a huge slate of potential candidates who are vapid and vacant. Mike is at least three dimensional.

  • Like Mike said, and I agree, "America is not a country that would punish children for the actions of their parents.." The children are innocent, so why punish them? They are also God's children and we should treat them the same as Americans. If you were the child of an illegal immigrant, you would feel the same, and you would be innocent, just the same, and as a human being, you should be able to deserve the same opportunities as other children if you worked hard, too. Don't you agree?

  • One achilles heel for Huckabee in Iowa that hasn't apparently affected him yet but very well could:

    When state legislators attempted to pass legislation in Arkansas to make it harder for illegal aliens to get public benefits, Huckabee not only was violently opposed, but he smeared those involved with some very nasty defamatory statements.
