  • (continued) the coda at 07:08 seems to reflect Mozart's pre-occupation with the phrase structure of the same bass patterns, and perhaps underscores the importance he related to it and reveales more about his craftmanship. Such hidden sophisticated calculations are abundant in Mozart's music, and very often overlooked by commentators. A hairsplitting analysis of his structural techniques is very satisfying for people who enjoy formal inquiry in music appreciation. Mozart KNEW what he was doing.

    WAM dedicated his 36th 'Hafner' Symphony, a similarly melodic masterpiece, to his new father-in-law when he got married.

    That's a lot of symphonies before settling down.
