Pizzazz is the anti hero in Jem. Plus Pizzazz was Jem's rival in the series. I found out why everybody had colored from the rainbow, is because Toei Animation which did animes such as DragonBall-Z-GT, the Sailor Moon Series, Air Master, Digimon, and Ultimate Muscle did the animation for Jem.
