I hear that Tales of the Abyss is being remade for the Wii!!!! :D There is also gonna be a sequel to Abyss on the same platform! :)

@thedudemonn sadly, the 3DS will probably not be able to handle that sort of game, since it came on the PS2 originally. So far, I've been hearing rumors, hopefully true, that Tales of Phantasia is being released for the DS, Tales of the Abyss being released for the Wii, and a sequel to ToA called Tales of Harmony. Theres really not much information on google that will cover this so called rumor. I'm really hoping the remakes will happen. I guarantee it! :P

@thedudemonn Tales of Versus, the fighting tales game, is a sort of Super Smash Bros. Mashup with a crap load of Tales characters from a bunch of different Tales games, and unfortunately, its not gonna be released in the US anytime soon. :(

@thedudemonn What Tales games have you played so far??? :) My favorite one out of the franchise has to be Tales of the Abyss for sure! I really liked the ending and how Asch died! I didn't really like him that much. I felt like he was the bully towards Luke. Oh, and sorry for the spoilers. hehe....lol

I'm currently playing Tales of Symphonia, but I haven't had time to finish...... :P

@DemonNaoto Ah, Asch was awesome, I like him about the same as Luke, kinda sad when he died. My fave character'd be Jade, and his sarcasm.

As for fave Tales of game, that'd be either Graces, Hearts, Vesperia or Phantasia

@thedudemonn I also have been playing Tales of Innocence for the DS!!!! ^^ It is ALOT like ToA in terms of the battle system, but everything else about the game is excellent! The skits, the voices, EVERYTHING! Everything you expect from any Tales game! Its that awesome!!! The storyline is truly amazing!! By the way, if you have not played it, you can google absolute zero translations and you will find an english patch for the ds game. Or you can PM me for it since I have it translated! :D

@ToSfan0: Excuse my skepticism, but I do feel you had an idea of where this is used in-game before making your post. In any case, your comment is completely accurate:

They are battling not to hurt each other, but to settle and define who they are; And the sole fact that they are confronting each other with all their might for that cause already proves that they are both victorious.

I really can't think of a song that could express what I've wrote better than this one.

Good song, but to be honest, I don't think it sounds like battle music. It's a variation of the opening theme, and sounds like it could be an opening theme, or an ending theme. Doesn't sound like battle at all. IMHO. So yeah, in terms of battle themes, this is one of my least favorites EVER. In terms of RPG themes in general, I consider this to be one of the most awesome ever.

@ToSfan0 I think it does sound like a battle theme, but more or less a friendly one, like fighting a rival/sparring with a friend, there isn't really that big of a consequence if you lose. I don't know how it's used in-game, but that's the kind of feeling I get. (yeah I know your comment was old, oh well :P)

@KilleRoyNl You really haven't played the game? You're missing out man. And by the way, you're pretty spot on with your description actually. It's one of the most awesome parts of the game, if not the most awesome. And when you're actually listening to this song with that context, it does actually go well with the battle, amazingly well. If you think this song is awesome now, just wait till you experience it in game. You'll go away liking it even more.

ToA feels better than ToV for my case love it's story

In my mind, Tales games just keep getting better. After playing Abyss it's hard to go back to Symphonia. But after playing Vesperia it's hard to go back to Abyss.

I'm happy enough though if people just agree the Tales series is good, rather than arguing about individual games.

Destiny was amazing, but it drops a little under Abyss because it's story was a little more cliche. But both are amazing, Vesperia actually fell beneath those two in my opinion (Though it was still great)

Actually, it sort of is, if I remember right. Many games use their main theme song, or a variant, for final battles.
