  • BVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVT ftw...

  • yeah great plane! they say the depleted uranium contained in the ammo will kill your enemies for thousands of years to come....and it also prooves a good solution for our nuclear waste. great job Boeing!!

  • Just love theese Thunderbolt`s ;-]

    Awesome jets!

  • 05, man thats when I was there in Ghazni, almost no air support though, they only engaged us 2 times, rest of the time they would just shoot and run or fire a few rockets, 82nd ABN.

  • They were fighting you mid day while there was CAS flying around? I'm guessing they ran off as soon as they saw that A-10. I was in Korengal and those fuckers would disappear like Houdini after about 30mins because they knew CAS was coming in. Then come out after they left. We pretty much relied on artillery and mortars. They will either hide or get off the hilltops when CAS is called, contrary to popular belief they are not stupid. Did you actually clear the hills and find bodies?

  • It remembers me about my days in Afganistan.

  • such...such a beautiful sound.

  • Sound of A10 gun is fucking scary, it is like T-Rex in distance.

  • You can't get enough of that roar... Just gives you hard on, no matter of your sexual orientation.

  • @vaporazor makes a woman get a hard on too

  • Wilco, Hawk 1 bringing in the goods. Stay clear of the firing area. Out

  • @earthman202 the A-10 isn't really a plane consider it a flying tank

  • How close does a plane have to be for it considered to be CAS?

  • @earthman202 i think its just the fact that its firing close by freindlys

  • @earthman202 its not about being close its about providing support to grunts or a unit in contact

  • Ah! you got the orange arrow marking your pos, is it up to the pilot to ask for a marker to show friendly positions?

  • Looks like mars.

  • CAS? C....AIRIEL SUPPORT C....AIR STRIKE? What is it this is like Marine Jargon fill us in!

  • Close Air Support.

  • Thanks Snipey14 Good to know. I read tactical guides but I GET CONFUSED since their all written differently through the ages.

  • A few people know the fact that the great german stuka ace, Hans Ulrich Rudel was an advisor during the development of the A-10. Perhaps it could explain why it makes us thinking about german ha ha .

  • A10 make me think about German

  • same here

  • i made the shells the 30mm fires double satifaction for me

  • I love the dragon roar of the A-10! It is a beautiful thing!

  • its like a bad bear roaring... just fearing

  • sounds more like a cow to me LMFAO

  • LOL! yeah... MOooooooooo!

  • @injuneer123 Love the grunt!!!!! 30mm!!!!!

  • @injuneer123 dood that sounds scares the fuck outta me its like omfg

  • the a-10's and f 22's are keeping the taliban hiding in their skirts

  • The A10, F16 and F15E are kicking ass; the F22 is just doing airshows...

  • Wha-

The F-22 is an air superiority aircraft. Last time I checked, the taliban lacked an airforce.

  • false. it is actually in operational service with the air force, with 139 delivered so far of 187 ordered.

  • Right. I believe the people below meant the F-35 which is the supposed replacement.

  • the only stinger taliban had is the one in thier front

  • if the Taliban is still up their he aint happy!

  • Can the talibs use a stinger on this?

  • Don't have any guided missiles, I don't think. Otherwise, yeah, they could.

  • I don't think it could hurt it too much lol. I've seen on the news an a10 that had its tailwing practically shot to hell and still flown back safely, guess that's why they call it a warthog.

  • actually we supplied them with stingers back when they fought the russians...even trained them....this is coming from a Soldier who 100% supports the fight.

  • True, but the US bought back the majority of the missiles and launch systems after the fight. The remainder would probably have already been launched by now or have fallen into disrepair, as I doubt the Mudjahadeen have the skills or equipment neccessary to maintain a US (See: Break down a lot) piece of technology.

  • Yeah. good thing they didn't. I hate to here about downed US aircraft, or Dead service men and women.

  • No but they can trowh stones^^

  • I hear catapult s work well on WARTHOG's

  • shit looks intense

  • I think the plan is to faze out the a-10 by 2025? It's is an amazing aircraft, it will be interesting to see what they replace it with. I saw it up close at the willow grove air show, very impressive.

  • They're going to have trouble stretching it out that long. These aircraft are rated to 8000 flying hours. A lot of them are starting to hit 12000. Heck, they're having to do a bunch of extra maintenance to repair parts of the win to keep it from breaking off.

  • I think they're planning on replacing it with the F-35. It's a shame, it's such a great aircraft.

  • When your ass is all out of hooah... who ya gonna call... A-10 close combat air support!

  • YOU CAN HEAR KALASH SHOOTS!>!!

  • I hope they dont replace it, knowing we don't need to

  • Right. There's no better CAS/ground attack airplane.

  • F-35??? Your joking right?

  • The A-10 IS going to be replaced by the F-35, but not for another 20-25 years of service.

  • isn't the F-35 to fast to use as an ground attack plane? i think that would be a mistake didn't they learn this lesson already? and the gun on it sucks for tank busting

  • I'm not sure, but I think it will just drop laser guided and other munitions on it's targets instead of using a canon. And instead of taking out targets at low altitudes, it will probably engage at higher altitudes. Personally, I think they should desighn a brand new aircraft similar to that of the A-10 to take over it's roles.

  • yeah i think the same thing... they need slow planes to use as ground attack there is enough FF as there is from CAS

  • I think that the A-10 should be kept in service until its totally outdated just because it totally dominates at its mission and for boots on the ground it is a huge morale booster just because it does its job so well and just looks totally bad ass.

  • It'll stay in service for at least another 15 years...

  • Thank you for your service.

  • meaning the A-10 =P

but he's right, anyone who serves - thank you!

  • Like a whale's moan dropping a barrage of depleted uranium shells on your position.

If the world where to be mixed up and sent to war, I'd be on the team with the a-10s

  • Prior to leaving for Vietnam, I was with an airborne unit at Fort Bragg & we went to a mini-gun (vulcan like) demo. Scared the fool out of me. If you are a soldier with one of the great democracies (USA, UK, Australia...etc) and are out in the boonies, the sound "BBEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZIP" from Puff The Magic Dragon or an A-10 is wonderful MUSIC. Those aviators can make some great tunes in the sky.

  • The A-10 sounds like a dragon after firing off those rounds.

  • I forgot to add, when I win the Texas Lottery, I'm selling my Cessna and buying a Warthog for ferrel hog hunting... Whoa Boy.

  • great idea

  • Lol. Redneck.

  • "POP" goes the weasel.

In Vietnam, we had Puff the Magic Dragon, but nothing compares to an A-10 Warthog.

  • give them fucking jihads some 3900rpm 30mm up there asses Hoorah!

  • Tell those guys to watch the fking warthog! XD

  • Guardian Angel blowing the trumpet, give em some of that 30mm Avenger love

  • bravo!

  • Tear that rock to shreds with those miniguns...

  • PAINTANK...that sums it up perfectly. Sounds like you've been there man...

  • Love that moan

  • gotta love the moan

  • max respect to the A10

  • That vulcan sounds like a whale, beautiful.

  • no wonder Iraqi tank crews during the Gulf War ditched there tanks and ran away as fast as they could when a hog was spotted making an attack run at them!

  • I'd be surprised if the tank crews can even tell an A-10 is coming, since these guns can fire and hit targets relatively accurate from miles away.

  • Damn that brings me back. Thank you for posting actual footage. The sound is like Angels blowing their horns when your in the shit.

  • Very cool - and real! Love, the A10 Warthog - ever since the Persian Gulf War. My husband is an Army soldier, and I'm sure the A10's have helped him out in a jam a time or two. Go Hogs!

  • Awesome video! Thanx for posting it! We LOVE the hog!
