About two seconds before the car hit the ATV driver, the ATV driver begins entering the left-lane. Imagine it for a moment from the Trooper's perspective... You see someone entering your lane, 300 feet in front of you. He clearly turned left to avoid hitting the ATV. However, the ATV, changed direction and returned to his original lane. However, by that time, it was too late, and the cop hit the ATV.

It was not deliberate.

The ATV should have stopped before this happened.

I was runnin from the cops on my bike about 5 or 6 years ago. i counted 9 cop cars by the end of the chase. I was putting other peoples lives in danger by not pulling over, thus i came to the end of a road where i could go left or right and a cop had it blocked off. I slowed down and he did the exact same thing in this video.Since i had slowed down i went left into a ditch. I road down the ditch then angled up,got out and went right. I lost the cops and they called off the chase.
