  • The hell.... Despite this being one of the weirdest things ever, there's actually some generally neat ideas in there. ITs really really bad though, needs work.

  • Samus is ice skating 11:46

  • This in the leaseted intense fight 02:42

  • This is really good! Just a tad bit more editing and this will be an awesome youtube video!!

  • WOAH... whats up with samus?

  • Hey this is a very nice video Reallusion love all the songs too if you created it congrats

  • Did the Devil have a gun in the beggining?!

  • no offence but metroid hate cold places so next time put them in a hot place with lava

  • twelve minutes of my life wasted

  • This is awesome.

  • haha, yeah looks like it took alot to make but, u shouldnt make these stuff,

dont look good on you sorry about it.

samus dont know how to walk normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!\

  • you dont know how to talk normal you... nevermind

  • Well, the model's proportions looked out of whack, and some of the animation was bulky in spots, but for a one man production over 5 months? Incredible. I'd like to see where this could go in a year.

  • great job but samus lokks like the hulk

  • monty oum still takes the cake.

  • i know that it took along time to do this, but no. fail. sorry.

  • waouw cooool !!

  • 3:54 MUAHAHAHAHAH!!

  • that morphball scene where samus changes back and slides down the ramp, looks like shes surfing :D

  • Waah! Quelle classe! Ca a dû en faire du boulot.

    Bravo! Franchement!

  • HAHA! Oh goodness, Samus looks and walks like a gorilla! The backgrounds look pretty good though.

  • My biggest complain is Samus torso, it seens too small.

  • i thought it looked quit hulkish actually

  • pretty cool... but you made samus look like a friggen power ranger, im sorry, but you did...

  • lol u mean a bionicle

  • no i mean power ranger, they way she moves

  • rthe right arm looks strange lool

  • This shit even sounds good back then in 8bit genius nintendo composer and now Metroid Metal takes it to another level I LOVE IT!!!

  • samus always did have that jet pack but i nvr c her fly with it unless its not 4 flying

  • She does, but only when she feels like it :P

  • Its knda bad kinda....err....goodish. I'll just say its not the best thing I've seen. She walks funny, too.

  • Watching this I have to say its pretty impressive. My major complaint though is the music. Try to make it fit the Metroid feel. Just because that metal tune is a Metroid song doesn't mean it's a wise choice. Go with a low, creepy, ominous tune (from Metroid if possible) and save the more powerful music for those real "power moments" in the movie. other than that good job. Shouldn't be hard to re-post the video with different music, I'm just sayin lol.

  • thats pretty awesome, must of took you a lot of time to make that video

  • Samus does her taunt from brawl at 3:54!

  • Fantastic, but it would have been way better if you spent some time on the sound.

  • Roller Coaster Ball Ride for the win! =D

  • i thought it was pretty cool...

good job! the music choice was awesome too!

  • are you like 9?

  • O_O

  • aside from the body being rather disproportionate and some lack of animation that may make it better, it was pretty cool.

  • good. Verry good!! This is awsesome done! But I didn't like hers visir, no offence.

  • HAHAH I had so much fun with this vid, Great job you did perfect, when i saw the item room im like " Cmon! Put Metroid Item Collect on!" Then bam, that was excellent. Gj incoporating the Metroid Metal songs in there, 4.5/5 ;)

  • its see like security arms in halo 3

  • Thanks for the comments everyone and look forward to new iClone 3.0 productions from the Martin Bros. coming soon!

  • this is a pretty cool stuff.

  • Samus' arms are too big but, an otherwise great video.

  • Thanks, that was a turbosquid model that was weighted in Max for use in iClone. In the beginning it was just a test subject that turned into a lead role.

  • samus is mis proportionate aside from that nothing wrong with this, keep it up

  • Thanks, if that is the only issue then I'm doing something right! Thanks again.

  • that was great. it only needs more sound fx other than that this is really impressive

  • Thanks, I was thinking of taking the time to do more SFX, but in the end I just felt the music was more than enough for 12 minutes. But look forward to future productions having more SFX and dialog driven scenes.

  • Great show Martin Bros!

Got to ask - how many hours were spent on this production? DT

  • 5 months to the day, hours are in the hundreds I'm sure. Thanks for the comment!

  • A clip produced perfectly and effortfully.

    Congratulations!

    ; ) Erstaunlich!

  • Thanks for your comment! I look forward to seeing more from you as well!

  • Fantastic work, James! I was wondering when you were finally going to create a full length epic.

  • This was my last hoorah as a tribute to iClone 2.5 and the awesome tool that it has become for filmmakers like us. John and I both felt it was time for us to release something that was completely independent and something to do with classic gaming was the route I wanted to go. There's mcuh more to come in the future with iClone 3.0 and I will just say now to be on the look out for more classic and popular game themes in some of our upcoming films. Thanks again for the compliment.

  • Some very impressive visuals and use of the particle system here, you must have quite a powerful machine.

Obviously when you are making a piece in the region of 12 minutes it's going to have flaws but the main one for me was the soundtrack.

Even the few dialogue lines you did do were either drowned out by the music or extremely distorted and this took away the diction from the words. Music should complement the film not used because you like the track.

    Just my honest view :)

  • Thanks for the feedback. You called it, I do LOVE the tracks and I am a bit of a metal-head so I tend to want to turn it up to 11. But In the future I will try to keep the audio balence in mind. Thanks Gabe.

  • Oh yeah, and I just have a standard Dell. No special bells and whistles, just the system reqs.

  • SORRY Colin, Didn't mean to call you Gabe.

  • 很黄很暴力

  • wow O_O that was preatty good some flaws but good hope to see a squel

  • Please let me know what flaws you are speaking of so that I can make it better the next time around.

  • well everthing cant be perfected but samus doesnt do much hand to hand fighting wen shes in here suit the chacter you used looked a little small and could of used more sound and music but apart from that it was good (sorry about spelling and grammer)

  • I see what you mean about the sound effects, the character is made to look a little small in comparison to the enemies, i feel it gives a since of intimidation. And I just wanted to see Samus do a little more hand to hand combat because, you are right, you don't see a lot of that in any of the games; but I felt that's why I wanted it in my film. Thanks for the reply, great stuff!
