I would recommend a lot more guidelines, because the website looks very boring :/

And for the love of god.... If you're going to make a website, then please do it right, not just using Photoshop and slice it to Dreamweaver, because these websites usually SUCK big time, rather learn som XHTML and CSS, it's not that hard. + if your unsure I am positive that you can find tutorials on Youtube :D

P.S: I DO recommend using Photoshop first for a layout, but put it together with XHTML and CSS :D

Why do people give a shit what the website looks like? That's not the point of this video. It's a good pointer for guys like me who haven't used Photoshop for the purposes of site design before. Fuck the graphics, it tells you the tools you need and is a good, clear bullet-point video that guides you through the process. He didn't say "This is how you make some wicked GFX, bro", he said "This is how you make a website layout. And then what did he do? He made a website layout. Perfect.

@serchmarc well all the info is out there for free, you just have to look for it. It's definitely easier, more convenient and faster to learn from a course you pay for (i.e. kelby training) but really it's up to you. I've never paid for any training but I also know that I could be WAY better at websites than I am.

@serchmarc I would use kelby training. That's the best I've seen, it's online so you can do it whenever you feel like it and it's pretty cheap.

@serchmarc i know that you posted like 7 months ago, but i'm in graphic and web design, and if you want to make good websites for business, you should take a good course that teaches you PHP MySQL after you learn the basics of HTML and CSS. Plus if you want to incorporate good design into your websites, you should think about taking some sort of graphic design program as well.

If you press ctrl (cmd)+t then you'll enter free transform mode which allows you to resize it.

Hmm that seems weird :S I would suggest that you uninstall it and delete all traces of it, and then reinstall it. If that doesn't work the you should probably contact Adobe for technical support.

This is in Cs3, but it's the same for all of the Cs's I don't know about any versions before Cs. My next tutorials will be in Cs4, since I just purchased it :D But You can still follow along in the previous versions.
