i hope your joking? because if you knew anything about football at all you would know that roy keane was the cornerstone of alex fergusons mercurial united team for over a decade... he was inspirational as a captain for both ireland and manchester united. he had his blow ups. but quality is quality and if you cant recognise that then i dont know man.... im not saying robbie is a bad player, but to say he is/was better than roy is just kidding yourself... different era - different class!

Im neither from cork or support man-utd... i actually support liverpool if you must know... first of all it was roy keanes temperament that made him such a big presence in the centre of midfield for most of his career. people were frightened of him and he barely made mistakes with (or without ) the ball... i know he was a little mad ( haaland springs to mind) but nonetheless a great footballer.... tbc

roy keane is probably the greatest player to ever turn up in green, regardless of whether he "went home" from the world cup... you will also see him voted amongst the top man-utd players of all time... and for good reason...
