@shreenav Not sure of the reasons why, maybe they were trying to make all the songs from a movie "fit" on a standard LP vinyl record, without realizing the irreparable harm done to our musical heritage. Maybe other music historians or collectors who read this could shed additional light. One of the glaring examples is the song "Himavahini.." from NaadanPennu where they edited out an entire stanza! You'd have to watch the movie or video excerpts to listen to the song in its entirety
@MrRajachitra, It is devarajan master only. I would like to inform you that, I remember one interview with devarajan master back in 1986, stating that the song in Panchagni 'sagarangale' by Ravi is copied from this song only.
