You really need to work on your flexibility, balance, and multiple combination speed with you legs. Try to make you kicking technique more sharp and fluid so they can come more blindly and have more penetration on contact.
I suggest yoga, standing leg raises, focus kicking pads, and starting out doing multiple kicks slow fully extended and fully recoiled then speed it up hard and fast when you start getting comfortable.

@afg96 hey, i do calisthenics. All my newer videos show the advanced bodyweight exercises i use. No gym, no weights. It is important to make sure to train all your muscle groups atleast 1 time per week whether it be by weights, bodyweight, or both.

I'm a small guy and don't have much lower body strength and whenever I whipped my hips for my kicks it seemed to give a harder hit than if I followed through.
bad stance, bad balance, drops his hands when he kicks, puts himself off balance, slow kicks, but strong kicks, any body with 1 day of training would be able to trap one of those kicks and counter attack, you have power but bad technique. Try to improve on that, keep it up :)

@MrOblivion582 if you train your foot you get used to it. same principle that thai fighters use for their shin conditioning can be applied to the foot. it might take away some power, but you get another foot of reach and better speed. machida for example. this guy just needs to train it more i think.

dont kick the bag when its swinging away from your kick . kick it as it swings into your kick to build power. it feels awkward and will make you look silly or weak but it will build real power.
your kicks arent bad but your telegraphing with your arms. you might catch an average joe that way but some one with training will see that and either avoid or counter it.
i think you have the leg and hip torque right its just the upper body needs to be more fluent with your hips, when kicking with your right leg your right arm is gona go down to your right side like a lever propelling your hips, while your legs arm is going to come accross your face or to the side of your head, try this for better form.
i see that you're quite a big guy so trying to kick like a muay thai fighter may be difficult, check out highlights of fighters like mirko cro cop, cain velasquez, melvin manouf, all guys with good kick form for bigger guys.
@Fazioenterprise I've watched a handful of your videos...as much as people talk trash, you are training, which is far more than most youtube trolls! May I suggest you lead your hit a little farther through your target to increase your penetration. Mass X Acceleration...drive your mass (starting with the upper body) then whip / drive your hips to engage the lower mass and create acceleration during the pivot. All accelerated mass meeting the target in bone shaking cohesion!
Fine against a bag, but those kicks would be way too slow in the ring. Not to mention your hands are all over the place, try keeping them next to your head so you don't get punched in the face. Look at the bag, not at the ground otherwise you will find yourself missing your target and probably on your butt. Give yourself space to kick, distance = power.
Lastly watch some Bas Rutten and Kwonkicker, they will point you in the right direction, then you will have some seriously bad ass kicks.

You should work on your flexibility, it'll make your kicks MUCH better. You also need to use yours hips, doing the kick from the outside of your body makes it predictable, and stop swinging your arms. Using momentum to get power into a kick will make you lose balance if you miss your target, leaving you open to attacks. A roundhouse workout must include correct technique and form, otherwise you'll learn bad habits which will be hard to unlearn.

Just what I observed, but try putting more hip into everything and connecting with your shin. The kicks towards the opening were the best, you had the most power behind those, but you need work on some of your jumping roundhouses. But good vid and really cool training space!

Its was my first time doing the tornado kicks too, so i know if i do them more they will be alot smoother.... Most the kicks were head kicks, and the low ones serve there purpose too.

Using momentum to get power into a kick will make you lose balance if you miss your target, leaving you open to attacks. A roundhouse workout must include correct technique and form, otherwise you'll learn bad habits which will be hard to unlearn.

I see strength, power, agility, and fairly good precision going for head shots. I think some of your viewers didn’t grasp the concept of a roundhouse kick “workout”…as opposed to training for speed and technique. I feel you were going for mostly power first and placement second…but not to get any points on form, as your critics seemed to think. LOL I’ve got to get a heavy bag for home use! Inspiring vid! :)

You got some power in your atacks, but your not using it properly. always falow through. dont stop just cause it made contact. this way it adds speed and power. using your waist works but im sure you know that. for the tornado, its a distant kick use it in distant more room for your leg to streatch. shuffle with your toes not your feet, then your body follows. use your full power. otherwise it becomes pointless. and im not hating fyi

@raztajay I disagree. If you want to do the most damage, you snap the kick back. The same applies to any strike. It transfers all the power in one instant, as oppossed to following through all the way, which will give you more of a push

hello my friend , love your strength videos , i also like to check out your striking videos , you see thats my specialty . when it come to kicking , doing each leg seperately is better on the bag , you are supposed to use your core but you are butting it in too much , and you should bend the knee completely and just explode it very neer the impact, and i say again,relax ,its key, much more power ,cleaner technique effortlessly.whats way more impertant than bag kicking is"shadow kicking"

Just what I observed, but try putting more hip into everything and connecting with your shin. The kicks towards the opening were the best, you had the most power behind those, but you need work on some of your jumping roundhouses. But good vid and really cool training space!

@leondinho10 i dont think its predictable.... it was just a roundhouse kick workout..... thats why u didnt see punches and other kicks..... Its was my first time doing the tornado kicks too, so i know if i do them more they will be alot smoother.... Most the kicks were head kicks, and the low ones serve there purpose too.

@leondinho10 and more importantly not break your foot which happens all the time in muay thai. General rule of thumb, kicking with your foot to the head is ok, everywhere else you want shin, for round houses anyway.

@Fazioenterprise yeah but what i'm saying. it's better to go to a class and learn the proper form, than to just make a youtube video of you doing it. and just because people don't have videos of them doing this stuff doesn't mean that they don't know what they are talking about. i've been doing kickboxing for about a year now. and i did karate for about four years of my life. i'm only sixteen but i've had some amazing teachers. my muay thai teacher was north american thai champ. so yeah

@Fazioenterprise Head kicks if your kicking a 4ft guy....practise kicking in your fighting stance, that way you will learn a smoother transition into the kick without it being so obvious. good work rate tho mate, high kicks drain energy like crazy.
