It clearly altered the way I think of music and now all bands are measured against Tool. I've been to 100's of concerts since and have NEVER found a band that was at the quality level of Tool, except for Puscifer, and APC, which are both Maynard bands. Maynard is unmatchable.

I love Tool however they need to do another album like Undertow and get right into the tune the meat and potatoes of the song right off the bat so to speak. These long segways into songs become redundant and common. Give me Maynard's yell the one that is sustained and not scratchy. His yell at the 3:35 min mark of 4 degrees is the best in Rock history!
