Ok, I stand corrected. I was wrong. I didn't really watch the show, I just saw the movies. P.S. Irjtmntfan, I think Michael J. Fox did the voice before he did the movie.
Mick is a pussy in these cartoons. I guess he had to be kiddified, though. Luckily Stiles' personality is more or less intact, although he does seem a bit more selfish than his live-action counterpart.
I wish they would release this show onto DVD in America because this is one of several 1980's cartoons that have not been seen in America since original air dates. Plus I remember how i got laughs out of that grandfather with the way he behaved a whole lot of the time.
Wow. I used to watch this show every week as a kid. Is it just me, or does Mick in the opening scene resemble Will Ferrel? Perfect casting for a comedy remake in my opinion. "You're outta here, Howard!"
Why does his voice change when he's a werewolf? It didn't change in the movie. And how does everyone at school all of a sudden not know Scott is a werewolf?
i K N E W there was a teen wolf cartoon! I haven't been able to find it anywhere til now! i was OBSESSED with teen wolf when I was a kid! this has made my day.
Does anyone know who we can write to encourage a U.S. DVD release of this show? I have the same question about Big Wolf on Campus, actually, if anyone can help.
@slave2moonlight: Write to MGM at the address shown on each DVD box, or 20th Century Fox Home Video (the current distributor of MGM movies and TV shows on DVD.)
This show defined my junior high years! I'm so frustrated that Australia has a complete series DVD release and all we got were a couple of compilation VHS tapes!
Say what? 1991? Walkmans were around long before that. The first Walkman was actually realeased in 1979, and they were huge in the '80s. Not sure which model you are talking about.
No, he's using a Sony Walkman, which were created and first sold in 1979. Walkmans were cassette players combined with AM/FM radios, which could sometimes record (these models had an external clip-on mic.)
That's Don Most as Stiles . Ralph from Happy Days, Cavalier in the D&D cartoon etc. I can't believe he didn't do more voice-overs, he was so good at it.
JackSmith: You'd think that with the live-action film and sequel on a dual-DVD disk that the animated series would make the transition to DVD too. Likewise for Back to the Future, but oh well...
I love this! I can't believe this is on Youtube! I wish this was available on DVD or for download. I think it would be a good idea to combine this with the 2 movies.
The Great Space Coaster was a live action/1980's puppet tv show. It had puppet characters like Goriddle Gorilla and Gary Gnu. And 3 human teenagers in a band named Frannie, Danny, and Roy.
I've just received the complete series of this on DVD!
Great stuff. It's out on R4 DVD in Australia.
I loved this as a kid. Nothing has changed.
This cartoon wasn't even considered to be anything special back in its hay day. Today it puts these crappy cartoons like "SpongeBob SquarePants" to shame... Easily!
