I'm studying the Argentine tango .....  but because I'm a ballet dancer, I have trouble following ... this has to be overcome ..

<<<thinking of locating a RP with 16 and 78 speeds...Probably a lot of my family would enjoy hearing some of those songs from that era...Thing is..most of those songs on 78 probably never saw the light of day in LP format. I don't know where to find 78s in good shape either..(i find broken ones in flea markets, mostly) Advice, anyone?

Hey, hadn't seen this Philips model working in ages. I used to play records on one of these while visiting an aunt ages ago. It was inside a Grundig console I think.

I tend to find the design a bit too simple but it brings back memories of my first days playing the music programmer LOL !.

I wish I found the stereo portable suitcase model I used to see at a neighboors house back in the late 60's. The ones with the big-headed cartridge. The headshell on this one looks so very futuristic.
