The sentence also would say, "His mouth is sweet and he is very Muhammad". It does not work. The word comes from "chamood" which means lovely in old and modern Hebrew. What is the Arabic word for lovely maybe it is similar.

@srkb001 It says "Chiko mamtakkim ve kullo machamadim zeh dodi ve zeh rayee bnot yerushalayim". You're right it sounds like Muhammad but in Hebrew you say Mu-cham-ad and this is Ma-cham-ad. The sentence also would say, "His mouth is sweet and he is very Muhammad". It does not work. The word comes from "chamood" which means lovely in old and modern Hebrew. What is the Arabic word for lovely maybe it is similar.

@srkb001 I know Hebrew. Look at the quote for the word "mamtakkim". It comes from the word matok for sweet, ma-MTK-im means sweetness. The word "machamadim" comes from the word chamood for lovely. Ma-CHMD-im means loveliness. It is how the language works. Still the word "kullo" means very so it cannot say "very Muhammad" it does not make sense. I have never heard of "im" being used for respect, is that Arabic? It is part of one word. You don't use "im" like that in Hebrew.

There is 'im' being used 4 respect in ancient hebrew, eg. 'elohim'(eloh-im) means God.

Any regular Hebrew sentence uses "im" for plural, thousands of verses in the Bible. Your argument for "kullo" does not work. It does not mean verily, it means very much, all, altogether. You are using English to change a Hebrew word. Kullo is the same as kol, the Hebrew word for all. "Ve kullo machamadim", And very much lovely. m-CHMD-im, loveliness. From Hebrew chamood.

@geennaamgevonden You commented twice so I'll try to get both. You are talking about the royal plural "Elohim" for gods. Imagine a king saying "WE will take OUR rest now". Many people use this to say the early Bible was a polytheist document. But the "im" is never used on names once in the Torah, like you are telling me is the case here. It's not a function like that in Hebrew. There is no Daveed-im for King David or Shelomo-im for King Solomon. Also why would Muhammad have a Hebrew name?

There is a video on YouTube about how it's too sexual to relate to Muhammad. Look at the Song of Songs, it's about a love affair. The name is a nice coincidence, but it's like how some Christians think Jesus was really born on Christmas. It's not an honest way to look at it.

Dying as a human, means the mission was done, it's actually not about him dying in the body that matters, but what's afterward and the resurrection. When I started studying Islam, I found there are many different scientific, historic, and biblical proofs that the Quran came from God. Would a man who couldn't even read or write know the fetal development of a baby or about the universe's expansion? How did he know that the ark of Noah was actually on Mt. Judi, and not on Ararat as the bible says?

@cukamonga333 Jesus said "Father, Father, why have you forsaken me?" because Jesus was referring to Psalm 22. Read it. He was fulfilling prophecy that He was and is the Messiah.
Moses, Noah and Abraham spoke of the Messiah to come through Abraham-Jesus.
"Trinity" is a word made to describe the Three persons of the God head, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. That word wasnt used in their vocabulary, but they refer to all three persons of God throughout all the Scripture.

1) We are all born in sin, that's why the sinless Jesus had to die on our behalf. That's why Jesus said we had to be born again in the Holy Spirit in order to have eternal life; You can only be born again by believing in Jesus;
2) Jesus was both man & God. When He was on the cross He was a man experiencing the abandonment & despair that resulted from the outpouring of divine wrath on Him as sin-bearer.
3)The Trinity was mentioned both in the OT & NT.

2. It's fair because God's Law was made known to Adam whom broke the Law knowingly.
3. It's not about fairness. It's about Love. God Loves so He died on our behalf that we may live with Him forever.
4. God was able to speak the entire universe into being. It's not hard for Him to take human form. I couldn't believe that a virgin with a child until I saw with my own eyes what the evil spirit could do.
