well the reason the G1 doesn't have an onscreen keyboard is because it has a physical keyboard. duh, that's the point. if you want just a touchscreen phone then get the iphone. and also, the reason i don't have an iphone is because it doesn't have a physical keyboard. G1 is better. no onscreen keyboard, no problem.

It replaced mine. Of course I was just using the iPhone with a turbo sim, but I know a lot of people switching from the iPhone to get a G1. Its definitely better. We at least it'll be topping it once we get the virtual keyboard soon.

Yeah, its a OTA update coming first quarter of this year. It was suppose to drop this month but I think they have pushed it back some. Its called the Cupcake.
