I think the question he asked Snoop was basically testing to see if she was really gonna go through with it. After she replied saying its his time, he basically knew he had to kill her or he was dead. Great scene

Snoop could've been smarter about killing Michael. When she approached him in the corner, she told him there was no need to bring a gun, which instantly made Michael suspicious. And when she told him it was just time for Walter to get killed, Michael was sure this was a trap. Michael was such a smart cold-blooded killer. Loved his character.
the incredible thing about snoops death is the last thing she says. First off Snoop is a lesbian and she is written that way in the show. She has shown herself to be as macho an any other guy on the show. @MrTrill1970 It is not some much the Irony in what she said. I found the scene to be poetic. Her last words were something you would not have expected her to ever say. It kinda leaves the question what her life would of been like if she wasn't a killer, and if men would atleast compliment her from time to time.
Mike is like Anakin Skywalker to me. He was a good kid seduced to do bad things based upon his surroundings and the love he had for his little brother. He started out a cold detached kid that liked to have a little fun, to a boxer in training, to a killer in training, then to a killer and then stick up kid. Funny how when he became bad and got his first kill, he rocked the big hoodie like Anakin ended up wearing before he he got fucked up by Obi Wan.

And since there's whole lot of machismo in that kind of culture she was part of, she HAD to be like that to fit in. So I think she held her more "girly" side back all the time, up until her last moment. Because then it just didn't matter anymore.
Perhaps the only scene when you get to see a more human side of this character. Really surprised me.
The actor playing Michael is soo brilliant ! One of the best and strongest characters (there aren't many weak characters actually) in this show. Way to go Tristan Wilds !

Even before it was advertised on Drunk Tank to all its dumbass listeners, I stumbled across that, and left a page of comments, (you'd have to go back to the second of 19 pages now) going into specific reasons why that was wrong. @kaylor666 Oh I agree, The Wire should be a show that kids are forced to watch. I think Requiem for a Dream is a movie they should show to kids in 7th or 8th grade in health class as well. However, my problem with that scene is the fact that almost every kid that watches isn't going to think that it came from a different show, they're going to think it's original iCarly material. And I really didn't find it funny at all.

@gwsmits People don't get the same choices all over. People who live in the inner cities are plagued with the shitstorm the so called "War on Drugs" has spawned, and kids grow up in an environment where they can't just let their guard down. Also, Snoop acted in self-defense. Getting hit with a baseball bat is much worse than it might sound to you. I'm not excusing anything, I'm just thinking realistically.

@drktigger People may not have a choice in where they are born and raised, but they do have a choice in whether to bring a child into that type of shitstorm and far too many people choose to have kids (sometimes multiple) in environments that aren't even safe for adults to live in much less children. To me that's selfish and inexcusable. Better yourself first, THEN have children, and stop using "I'm from the hood so I don't have a choice." We are ALL responsible for our actions.

@poetmm Perhaps I did strike an overly serious tone in my comment, even though I meant for it to be half-facetious. As for her getting off on the recent charges filed against her for drug offenses, that's not exactly accurate. All that's happened so far is her being granted $50,000 bail on April 8, 2011 whereas the judge previously denied her application. The charges against her still stand and the DEA is proceeding with the case.
