i dont think Miley is a bad role model, she's only 17 and she's just in that transition stage. yay they are now, but when you look back to when britney spears was 16 she just left the mickey mouse club (disney!) I was one of those 8 year olds who looked up to britney spears when she was the same age as Miley, its the same thing now and i think Miley is BY FAR a way better role model, she may not be the best out there, at least she still has character and is unique, and she does really good things for charities and communities and thats what counts.

Part of being an entertainer is the costumes ( outfits ) she wears. The target audience is families and things they can watch together. I think her show is funny and I like some of her more recent songs, but I certainly am not being manipulated and I am far from 10. I happen to watch Disney channel during the summer when network TV has reruns. Miley has her own clothing line and I have seen girls/women ages 14 - 40 wearing them. If Disney thought anything she had done was bad enough they would fire her or risk angry parents boycotting shows or some other form of protest that would affect more than just Hannah Montana.
