Dec. 3 2007 Coast Storm Long Beach WA part 2

What a week that was. We were without power for 7 days and the temps plunged right after the three-day blow. I had internet though b/c we use dish and had a computer-safe generator to use (when we weren't keeping the freezer plugged in or watching tv!). Neat to find, I'll never forget that storm.

The only real danger was the trees, which if you live here long enough you can tell when they are getting ready to loose a top or fall over; the branches on the other hand can blow out anytime. I still like driving around and see nature at her best.

That storm was nuts. It just rained really hard where i live no wind or serious flooding. I look at this storm as our katrina escpially on the coast and lewis county. i like your collection of videos as well. Its the same thing i would be doing:)
