that's way too precise... the character's arms aren't tired and shaking after firing 300 bullets out of a machine gun - it's either low difficulty, or arcade-like if the entire game is like that. Even in BF and BF2 most of the ammo goes astray after firing a lot, guns overheat etc...

... furthermore, you don't _have_ to kill anyone. For starters, when the mission loads, the very first thing you'll be asked is whether you want to play through it or not. You can skip it altogether. If you choose to play, then you don't have to fire at anyone, you can just walk along and watch.

This whole thing is just a cold blooded murder scene for the sake of extra dramatism and reducing black vs white effect (now in US-Russia war that follow, Russians have a good reason for it!).

A reminder to all who haven't played the game but are outraged...

The people perpetrating the massacre in the video are terrorists, but they are also Russians (except for the player himself, who is a deep cover CIA agent who has to go along with this or else blow his cover). There's nothing in the game itself that portrays this sequence of events as desirable. Indeed, the Russian attack on US soil that follows in the storyline is direct result of this!

1: going to far ahead of the group

2: laggin to far behind during the swat part

I dont know about you guys, i will never pay $60 for a PC game, and I am never going to. I dled the newest working full version along with the Map-Pack from mw2forfreeXinfo (replace X with . ) and it ran flawlessly . Believe me, even though it's a Great online game, it is not worth $60 when you can get it for free.

I walked through it but i wouldnt refuse to play it cause its just a game its part of the story and there are lots of games where you kill civilians that dont catch as much flak as this single mission did.

Russian Swat... they check to see if youre still alive and then they signal for more back up even though you die. which was makarovs initial plan since he knew you were undercover and not really russian so he used you to get Russia and the U.S at war because they later identify you as an american and blame the airport deaths on you and the U.S. hope it explains it.

You do have to shoot Russian police, and SWAT, but that's not what folks are crying about.

The point is to make you hate the asshole villain in the game, the Russian, Makarov, who you're following and understand how the moral ambiguity on both sides turns things sour.

I also thought this mission was sick, but it is a necessary part of the game. This characterizes the horrors of war and it is supposed to make you feel bad, but it gets a strong message across by making you experience a terrorist attack firsthand. I am actually glad that Infinity Ward put this level in the game to show they are not afraid to show pure evil.
