Correct. In the "Bush Push" game, there were no replay refs. The Pac-10 refs were on the field.
In ND-Stanford, there were Big East refs on the field and Pac-10 refs in the replay booth. The reversal of Grimes' TD was one of the worst and most corrupt replay calls in history.
@NDLady well they believed they had INdisputable evidence (undisputable is not a word). THEY make the call, not us. And they are professionals, they can usually see what we can't. But this wasnt one of those cases, just an absolutely terrible call. The guys in the replay booth for this game were just awful.

I was there, saw it on the jumbo screen & Grimes was robbed!! The ball was overthrown, but Grimes was somehow able to catch it. That was pure athleticism! Hell-of-a catch! PAC-10 booth officials should get their asses handed to them! Can't wait for next year!! GO IRISH!!

Notre Dame uses neutral officials at their home games. Most likely the officials for the "Bush push" were Big Ten officials.

In the rule books it states that a player cannot push his teammate from behind to help him gain yardage. Reggie Bush clearly did this in 2005.

This isn't the first time that PAC-10 replay officials have made mind-blowingly stupid game-altering decisions.
Remember the Oregon-Oklahoma on side kick debacle last year?
Or when they reversed a reversal of their initial call on the field last year for USC-Oregon (again last year, again officials suspended)?
These replay officials are completely incompetent. Just glad it didn't cost ND the game.
