Even though I don't like him, I'll play devils advocate for LeBron. This was LeBron's first year with the Heat, and they absolutely should have won the Finals, they choked it away. Keep in mind Kobe and Shaq didn't even make the Finals until their 4th or 5th year. Kobe was obviously an important part of the Lakers early 3-peat, but you'd have to be crazy to say he was the MVP on the Lakers, Shaq was THE man on those teams. I guess my only thing is that I used to hate when people would say "oh, well if LeBron had Kobe's supporting cast, he'd win easily". He has a better cast now, and he still didn't win. That's not to downplay LeBron, but a lot of LeBron fanatics will glorify ANYTHING he does, and ignore anything that he fails to do.

@ChromeMag29 I never said ANYTHING about Kobe winning two with Gasol. I was talking about the 3-peat, nothing else. Sure LeBron had Bosh and Wade but what's really special about the Center position is that it's a generally weak position. There aren't very many great centers so when a team has one all they need is another good piece to win a title. If the Heat had a good center that could shut down or at least slow down Nowitzki, the Heat would have won. IMHO so fuck off.
