  • 0:53 he's trying to eat her hand!!

  • I am getting a ferret when i move so this is really helpful :P

  • 50 to 57 the ferret is like look at me

  • LOLOL so cute, the ferret in the background jumping up and down.

it looks exactly like my ferret. <3

  • I feel so bad for the ferrets they are begging far attention and i bet those people don't even play with those ferrets

  • 0:30 - 0:35 ^_^

  • i fucking hate pet land. their is one near Pensacola and their ferret cage had no water, the ferrets ears were all bleeding, one of them was vicious to everyone.

  • @fujiwaranosai25 THAT'S FUCKING CRUELx_x

  • i love ferrets. we hunt with them. they hate rabbits more than gardeners do xD so nice animal. friendly. they can viciously kill a rabbit. and then come back to your hand proud and friendly great animal for training, and it likes it because loves being out :) and likes its owner . smart too. my friend lost one down a hole.. guess what,. it came back to his house over a mile away haha. incredible

  • Since when can you compare a cat to a dog? You can leave a cat and it will enjoy itself, but you cant leave a dog alone for more than 1 hour >.>

  • hi i want to know if ferrets are good or fine for kids whith asma?

  • @alliechskabruja I personally wouldn't recommended them. They shed bad during spring/summer to get rid of their winter coat...

  • lol i love how when she says that they are playing the one in the box is freakin out

  • how many years do they live?

  • @ilovedamusic1000 9 to 10

  • @ilovedamusic1000 thaey can live to be 10, but that would be extremely lucky. 8 years is typical

  • Sweet i want one too :X :X :X

  • @TheXiL3Clan what the crap dude no only cats

  • you need hard cock

  • lol that ferret was totally trying to attack her hand 0.34

  • i dont think ferrets are supposed to be in tanks, thats low ventilation

  • @shantal011700 True, but they are in a large tank with a sturdy ventilated top.

  • @justin13480 those would be the boosters, you still need your vet to do the annual ones

  • ok i live in ky i just got a feret today and i got it at pet land but should it arledy have its first set of shots

  • I would NOT be able to be in a video like that and be completely serious! Look at those cute little guys! They want to be held and played with =) I would have at LEAST held one !!

  • 0:30 EPIC Ferret win :P

  • i want the one that jumping around ^^

  • So if someone likes kittens and cute things, then a ferret is perfect? PERFECT

  • "Oh hai! Take me! Take me! I'm oh so cute, and oh so adorable!"

  • If I got a ferret i would name it jonny. idk why

  • won't they bite you or others if you let them out?

  • My school day is twelve hours, and I would only be able to let my ferret out for about four to five hours each day. Is this alright? I mean, I would get it an absolutely colossal cage so it could still run around while I am gone during the day.

  • @AlphabetSoupCircus yeah ferrets need at least four hours of being out of their cages.

  • @AlphabetSoupCircus thats fine! two or three hours is fine for ferrets to play and exersize =) make sure he/she gets an awesome cage! I hate seeing the owners with hamster or mouse cages for their ferrets!!!

  • Hey i defenetly dont want to buy a ferrent to keep it in cage,is it nessesary to keep it in cage or i can let it sleep where ever it wants to,of course wil teach it to go to toilet :) friend has a ferrent that goes to toilet it self like a cat.

  • @TadsKadsNekadNebusi Yes you can. But you need to make your house ferret proof. No long curtains. No tables where they can get on etc etc etc...

  • the ferret at 55 wants to bit her fingers

  • @expertvillage im trying to adopt one of these little fuzz balls but i'm quite low on cash most adoptions require a "small" fee of usually 100$ and some times more, i have a nice large cage but i dont know where to get one with out spending 400$..

i also living in miami florda :P

  • @PlayfullFoxKit Don't adopt an animal when your low on cash!

    Ferrets have expensive needs!

  • @patrick10001 i know i ment when i have alittle more extra cash.. i already set aside a fund for food and such and a back up for medical care ^^;

  • awww it kept jumping at her....

  • 0:31!! lol!!

  • Ferrets are just the cutest!!!

  • @PeachSunset i know right!

  • ferrets are so cute =D

  • fuck bob bloody dylan!!!!!

  • Would you be able to leave it alone in the house for most of the day or would it need company like a dog??

  • @Alannbitchh They need to have a cage to be in while you are not home because they are like 2-year old humans - into everything! I've owned many different ferrets for 25 years & sure, they like company, especially people!

  • @Alannbitchh there need to be at least 2, in words TWO ferrets, a single ferret will get serious problems that might even lead to death! never have a single ferret at home!! but if you make the rooms they live in ferretsave (like no cables they could bite and no places they could get stuck in) there would be no problem as long they have food and water...they will play with each other or sleep until your back home and rdy to care for them..

  • @Alannbitchh Ferrets need AT LEAST 3-4 hours of interaction. plus your house needs to be ferret-proofed. If you are out for most of the day I wouldn't recommend getting one.

  • '

i love ferret is a so great pet family

  • now how often will they need a check up?

  • This chick is cute.

  • LOL at the little guy jumping towards her hand

  • Ferrets are more like having an infant in the house for years! They require MORE care and supervision than a dog or a cat. If you think that you could take care of another child in the house - then it's a good idea to get one.

  • at 0:30 the ferret is like flippin out hahah

  • aww they look so cuddly and soft.

  • AS for the "exotic" topic. YES they are still considered exotic and you cannot get pet insurance on them, except the type that will reimburse you aFTER you pay up front. That should tell you they are nothing like a simple dog or cat.

  • they require MORE care than any dog or cat!!! they are very high maintenance. So if you don't have time to give them, don't buy one!

  • "I have a big head, and little arms"

  • Well, Last sunday my dad and I found out that my little brother was allergic to ferrets. :(

  • what should i adopt: a dwarf rabbit (so cute) or a ferret (fun)?? plz answer i don't know what to choose

  • ferret! :D <3

  • ok thxs

  • ferret!

  • Ferrets are a LOT of work, more so than rabbits, whatever choice you make please read up alot on the animal so you can care for it the best :D

  • ok thxs for the tip!!

  • ferrets pwn all...

  • how is it more work?

just curious. im thinking of getting a ferret because my rabbit is not social and generally angry.

  • @howtomakeyourown I can't even go into it in a youtube comment, they are a lot more energetic than rabbits and require spaying and alot more attention. They have very different dietary requirements, rabbits eat any ol' rabbit food from the pet store and vegetables but ferrets require a mostly fat and protein diet meaning meat would be ideal...

  • @ venomf.

rabbits like ferrets require 3-4 hours out cage. i do that for my rabbit. while the food content is diff. they are still pellets (same difficulty)

they use littler boxes. i scoop my bunnies litter every day like youre supposed to.

they are practically the same to care for

  • @howtomakeyourown Except ferrets are like rabbits on crack but with sharper teeth and claws, a tendency to get stuck in places you'll never even be able to think of ferret proofing..Blah blah blah..I'd reccomend downloading Ferret for Dummies, it's acually really helpful and I would have been lost without it when I first got my ferret :)

  • @venomfairy And plus you need to safe proof your house for any holes that they could get through and beware screen doors/windows in case they get out and make sure you don't have a quilt for bedding because it can make a hole into the blanket and not be able to get out and i don't think you want to wake up to a sufficated ferret D:

  • ferrets are cute to

  • Ferrets are so crazy

  • I know this is about the ferrets and stuff but..She is also beautiful...aww man this is 2 years ago...darn that sucks...oh well thx for the info beasutiful lady ^^

  • are u serious olol?

  • LOL

yeah she MIGHT be if she got rid of the glasses and changed her hair. MIGHT

  • She can keep the glasses..and they hair can change anytime ^^ lol but yes she kool

  • thank you for the video

this info is very helpful to me

  • "Look at me!! Look at me!! Omgosh guys, we're on youtube!!" Haha I love ferrets. :]

  • anyone know anything i need to know about getting a ferret i want one so bad

  • how long do ferrets live ????????

  • About 6 to 10 Years.

  • holy shit!!! this pet store is in ft. walton beach, i bought my ball python from here!

  • I guess they're the reason why we've got a python infestation now.

  • haha nice one

  • at 0:32 haha.

  • bath them 1 time a month.

  • yeah!! I like that jupmy ferret too : )

  • aww! how cute the little ferret jumping!! it wants a home! heehee cute little ferret

  • I love my ferret, Bandit. He is so much fun. It's impossible to be sad or upset with him around.

The lady in the video is right, it's like having a kitten around. Actually more like 10 kittens. He gets into everything.

  • Hey I took my ferret to the vet today because he was loosing lots of weight and when he eats or drinks he makes this bad sniffling sound & when the vet looked it hes mouth he had a big rotting hold in the roof of his mouth making it hard for him to eat the vet thinks he might have a tumour thats eating away at the top of his mouth there is not much we can do but we put him on antibiotics, but he still cant eat biskit I think it get stuck in the hold so we have been giving him chicken baby food

  • yes and no.... you should bathe them about every 2 months with soap, however if you are keeping them outside you may not want to bathe them at all and just provide a way for them to wet and wash themselfs. just change the water often. however if you are keeping them in your bedroom getting them wet and drying them with a towel everyday is not a bad idea just no soap, cause that is what strips the oils out of their fur causing the glands to produce more. also diet helps smell.

  • No no no. Every 3 months or the smell gets worse. And you should never leave standing water outside, nor the ferret. It could get bitten by bugs etc, get heartworm.

  • i dont know about that one... we just got a second that had poor ownership and is about the same age as my guy... and he stank something fierce... now he is happy and uses that "standing water" to bathe and cool down. I change it everyday like their drinking water that is in dishes so they can "snorkel". and that came out wrong when i wrote it. never leave large amounts water outside over night in their cage. and really if your worried about bugs in the first place why would you leave them out?

  • that came out wrong... if they are outside i ment not to use soap when bathing them and to leave water for them to cool down in. its hot where i live however if your in a cool climate dont use the water. and dont leave it out over night change it like drinking water every day. And just a side note, mine are in my bedroom and smell no worse then cats. friends dont even know i have them.

  • at 0:31 seconds watch the ferret start jumping in the lil thing

  • NO!!!!!

  • No, guineas are herbivores and ferrets are carnivores, ferrets are jumpy and fast but guineas are not for the most part. Ferrets can get certain diseses that guineas won't like rabbies and ferrets need a litter box and bigger cages.

  • @ericrules95 Ferrets are extremely resistant to rabies. I know you posted this a year ago but just letting you know.

  • what? if u dont keep em in a cage?

  • I saw on a video from expert village that I should get a female ferret fixed because if they dont breed later in life, it causes difficulties. Does anyone know anything about this?

  • Yeah, they're right.

If you don't fix your female she will likely die because she can't come out of heat on her own, and will loose too much blood.

  • coffesip, I have a ferret & I clean the paper in his cage every other day. I agree with Ashrend; as long as things are kept clean, there shouldn't be a problem.

  • guys what is easier having a ferret or a dog? which 1 is less expensive? Is it hard taking care of a ferret?

  • i'd say ferrets are more difficult, if only because they require specific care that is different from how you care for a dog or cat and less people know enough about them.

Ferrets are more expensive because fewer vets specialize in their care and treatment needs to be tailored to them.

Taking care of ferrets is not difficult so long as you have done enough research and know what you need to do that is different from what you need to do for a dog/cat.

    :-)

    Hope that helps!

  • I thought ferrets werent exotic pets?

  • yeah they are, when i had my jill i had to take to an exotic vet....I think it is just because they are rare as pet or atleast were, but over time the exotic part of it may change.

  • i am thinking of getting a ferret soon

but if i go school who will take care of the ferret??? i found out on the internet that it poops every 3-4hours and we have to clean it every single timke it poops.........

    what should i do???????

oh!!!! what can we give the ferret as a treat? or food???????

  • Ferrets spend alot of their time sleeping (roughly about 14-18 hours) and they're mostly active during the mornings and evenings so they will probally be asleep while you're at school.

As long as you wash the fabric stuff in the cage (like hammocks etc) when they get dirty and the whole cage out once or twice a week (Depending on the state of the cage.) they should be fine.

  • ferrets sleep 18-20 hours a day and is usually awake around dusk and dawn, so when you get back form school have it out for a couple of hours, you don't have to clean up after every poop, just scoop out the solides daily, just like a cat's littler box, but give it a full clean out once a week.

  • 0:34 the ferret is dancing!

  • he's really good

  • haha 0:31-0:36

    so cute

  • are ferrets good pets?

  • ferrets stink real bad

  • not if you get them castrated / spayed.

  • man, you guys are lucky, u get to have ferrets as pets, over here in CA they're illegal T_T so i cant have one...:(

  • y r they illegal?

  • dunno. ask one of the million ferret owners on one of the many ferret forums.

to be honest, that was kind of an obvious question.

if they were illegal then you can can be expecting expertvillage to do a video on the top ten ways to take drugs.

    the short answer: No.

  • no i said WHY r they illegal to secretsoftheninjas

  • oh yeah really sorry about that..... i didn't see the 'y' bit at the front.

    :( sorry

  • :) k

  • the hair will grow back itselt, you don't have to do anything about it, my ferret had it too a while ago, just wait

  • these videos are very helpful for me because i just got my ferret about a month ago and i have learned alot by these videos.

  • really? I think they are massively under-informative. especially the biting one "you need to correct the biting behavior" no duh! How?

  • Fuzz butt! lol... they are lil rascals, they crack me up & I've only had my fuzzies about a month or so but I've fallen in love w/ the lil escape artists!

  • I love these videos... just got my ferret & these are helping me a lot w/ their care. They were sprung on me & I couldn't have them given to humane society, so I took the cute lil devils! So these videos helped a lot!

  • lol is that ferret on crazk or something lol i can't stop laughing lol lolollolololololo lolol

  • ferret on 30

  • i have a chinchilla and i am want to get a ferrets are the good together?

  • nice vid!

  • i just got my fuz butt a week and a half ago :)

  • 0:30 to 0:34 lol! look at that ferret go!

  • ferrets RULE

  • sorry i was in a rush when i posted that, i mean she said that ferrets usally get a sickness at the age of 2.

  • i have a question for anyone 2 answer. ok do most ferrets get a sickness after the age of 2?

because i know that these r not the best care for ferret vidoes, but i said that, and i was wondering. plz wite back

  • can u let them just rome around in ur house or no?

  • There's really no reason to keep them in a cage as long as there are no small areas, like under a bathroom sink-where there are air ducts, for them to get trapped in or they can get outside from. Make sure to board these places up. Just keep their food and water dishes stocked and make sure to put litter boxes or paper towels in the corners where they use the bathroom the most. And make sure to get a squeak toy. They will come out of most anywhere when they hear that sound.

  • yes but its better to look after them cus they like to chew on wires wood etc. and they like to poop in corners. and they like to explore cus they are curious little animals that like to crawl into anything they can fit into

  • OMG! That one little fuzzie is gonna tear her up... he's all "let see that hand lady! muuaahhahaha" but seriously ferret totally need a lot of attention. dont just get one cause there cute, really do some research and make sure you are able to commit to the care they need. Also if you can find some other ferret owners in your area try to hang out with them and their fuzzie to get an realistic idea what ownership is about. good luck to you all! =^.^=

  • You can't just explain on a short 2 min video for the proper care of ferrets. You should do at least 3 weeks of research before you get your fuzzy pet.

  • 3 weeks of research ha ha wtf!

  • how much for a ferret? like including cage and toys and maintenance?

  • Depends on where you live, where you get it, and how you take care of it.

I got mine from a guy whose ferret had babies for free. It wasn't desexed or descented and that cost me $150 in Australia. A Cage I never used, she slept in a bed in the kitcthen. and I put wooden boards up to stop her getting into other rooms at night and stuff.

I'm guessing around $250 in the U.S for all that stuff.

  • I should add I have no idea of Vet costs in the U.S. Im guessing they are similar to Aus.
