@psilicybin666 You are incorrect, im a 6 year bassist and while the bass is not impressive the drumming of Gwar is, the lyrics are always very humourous (the intention) and quite often the guitar riffs and solos are juicy. You must keep in mind that these are art students and not music students though, and they are selling something different than typical music. It IS a performance by every meaning of the word. They slave to make their own costumes and shit, they are dedicated as fuck!

Lyrically, they might have some creative songwriting, but, when I can't get past that pathetic attempt at singing, which is what I'm assuming he's trying to do, well the lyrics don't matter when everything else sounds like garbage. Yes, Gwar is a joke, but not in they way you're trying to say!

Gwar is orginally from richmond virginia and i live in newport news va and i get to see this band twice a year. The music is great if you like comical songs bout death sex drugs and of course destruction. Their live shows are second to none.
