The next line"the love I sell you in the evening by the morning won't exist" points that out. He's only interested in her for the night, and everything about that night was just a product of alcohol and drugs. She shouldn't think that's it is any more than that. Other guys may have led her on in the morning like they would come back, but he is making it clear that he won't.

Not that you cant think of any city you want when you listen to it, but in case you're interested, he wrote most (all?) of Im Wide Awake its Morning while he was living in East Village NYC. I didn't know that for the longest time, but since I learned that, I've gained a whole new perspective on the album. I love having two completely unique ways to listen to it. Mine or his.

I live in Bloomington and I was at this concert. It was amazing! After it was over everyone must have clapped for about ten fucking minutes and then he came back for an encore. And I think he got really drunk by the end; he ended up standing on the drumset at one point. It was so good!!
