@Cod4Sniper117 Yeah. Even better than the HD version which pretty much has graphics as the only praisable thing. The ps2 version is much more superior gameplay-wise. Example: when you use the charged force repulse in HD, nothing big happens and a single shot can stop you. On the ps2 it picks up anything nearby and is much more devastating. Or like in HD where your force lightning looks like mere sparks while on the ps2 it turns into a lightning storm.

I'm 34-years old guy from Finland and I love to play console games! I have stuck in the old generation consoles for now and so I have tried to find the best and the most interesting games for them. I own old Xbox and PS2 consoles. Just today I received this game. I have played it a while and instantly I can say that this is one of my favourites! Well, I am kind of a "Star-Wars-nut"! :D I have SW-Starfighter for PS2 and SW -KOTOR I&II and SW -Jedi Academy for Xbox. Awesome games! :)

For some reason I found this game to be more fun on PS2 then on PC... that is the boss fights were somehow... more dynamic... I know that Aspyr did a very poor job at porting the game from the console but still for example... The fight with the Emperor was more interesting on PS2 then on PC since on PC you end up fighting those red guards most of the time during the encounter while on PS2 there are lightnings and sabers blazing everywhere.... plus that irritating cackle and voice of the Emperor.

@XxNocturjoxX i think the same. and i have played both versions. ps2 and ps3. ps2 has more levels and a better atmosphere on the first kashyyyk mission with vader. ps3 has better graphics, yes. but graphic replaced the elements that made true games. now they try to invent crazy controls. revolutionary gameplay made true games in the past. today video-games are just like interactive movies with an endless number of lifes. it is sad that the original experience is gone. (only an opinion)

@Garother Sadly, gaming changes with the times, and theres nothing we can do about it. the only thing I don't like about todays games is that they are way too forgiving and that they baby the player. Back in the day gaming actually needed a thing called "skill" and unfortunately most gamers today seem to not know that. Everyone cares way too much about the graphics they forget about the game-play, which is what really matters.
