I figured out we had this video and I watched it. Wow! Is all I had to say. The cast,the graphics. The year is was made! All so classic. Lol, it is a very good movie,but to be truthful, I perfer James Cameron's Titanic, I mean come on Leonardo DiCaprio X3 What a great site,lol! But still Titanic 1953 is a classical movie!! I love it just as much as 1997's edition! ^_^

Good version ,yes,but not as good{ in my humble opinion} as "A Night to Remember",the 1958 movie from the English film company The Rank Org.,and based on Walter Lord's book of the same name.
