Walmart does not destroy communities. The idiots who shop there do. As for lower prices Walmart price matches. So before you blame Walmart for this shit maybe you should know what you are talking about. And Walmart stores donate to their communities over $100,000 each year. How much have you donated to your community?
1) I told a walmart employee if they can find my mom by calling her name over the intercom. Her name is of Asian origin.
They laughed, busted out mock martial arts moves while saying my mom's name. I was shocked, said "Are you making fun of my mother's name?" They frowned, turned around, ignored me. Asked them again and they said "no." They paused and laughed again.
I work at a pharmacy and if we tried that we'd face severe consequences... god idiots.
I don't shop on Black Friday. I have yet to be shopping on Black Friday. If I ever went out on Black Friday it would be for something important that I really need such as diapers for my baby or whatever ... not a stupid tv or whatever. And I would NEVER trample over a person. What a sick and disgusting society we live in. I'd love to have every single person who stepped on the guy that day shot in the head for killing the poor guy.
At Walmart the prices are cheap and better. Dont blame walmart for the economy, blame the small businesses and other businesses that want to make money from ripoff prices. Maybe if some of these other business can sell their things at a fair price, they want have to continue blaming walmart.
@tatomuck18 lets make a correction. the only thing walmart has cheaper prices on is their cheaper crap. every thing else like name brand products are the same or more.
I agree, someone who is willing to sit and wait and shove for that long then to just "over the top" like WWI just let hell break loose the day after thanksgiving for Christmas gifts are just ignorant fools. However I do disagree about wal-mart on one area, where am I going to buy anything in South East KY that is a small town local operation? There aren't any businesses here that aren't some form or fashion of chain store. Myself included most everyone here works in a chain store.
I don't have the luxury of going to little shops, if I did I would see how their prices were and do my shopping based on that, and probably end up shopping there anyway. I am what you would consider poor, and that is why I shop there for now. But to restate what I said earlier yeah it is pathetic that someone would trample and push and shove to get something that will be restocked guess what? Tommorow! Jesus it's not like they're going to run out, they get that stuff everyday, just wait
Complete stupidity is an understatement my friend. Sheep Sheep Sheep. Someone famous once said "Your all a bunch of FUCKING SLAVES". Think for yourself people. Thank you NorCalCorsello for expressing what others are afraid to express.
I NEVER go to Walmart...they are Un-American in ALL thier employment practices...haven't shopped there in years...its god-dammed disgrace people particapate in thier own demise.
I was shocked to see that on the news, but amazed at how clear and bright the horrific violence looked on my new 47" HDTV that I got at a special discount for being first in line at 3 AM!
Okay, bad joke, I don't do the Black Friday thing, and this story (and the one Talljim mentions) demonstrates the extreme end of why I avoid malls, box stores, and shopping centers at this time of year.
The values that we Americans have . . . we are totally sold by materialism. It's sad. Those items that cost the person his/her life will be tossed to the side next year and not thought of. While that persons family tries to put the pieces together. Just sad.
@kokema1 I agree... I just can't wrap my mind around how someone can take away one's life just so they can buy a PS3 or some other item. I mean we don't live in an era and place (at least the USA that I know of) where we have to kill someone for resources anymore. There are so many nonviolent options to obtain things.
Besides we don't need as many materials as we think to live. American homes are so full of materials, compulsive hoarders like my mom are born. :/
In my community WALMART is only for the white trash
