Inspirational! I am studying the piece in order to assist with my son's youth orchestra. I am working primarily with coaching the winds but also occasionally will be asked to conduct rehearsals when the music director is unavailable. A pleasure to watch your conducting technique and to enjoy your enterpretation. Many thanks!
I'd like to hear this orchestra play Tch 4, 4th movement. My all time favorite is the CSO playing it, Barenboim. I bet these kids would smoke it though :-)
this isn't the original though is it? I find it annoying that it isn't the origional because that is what i want to listen to right now, but in another mood, i might like this better. But I've played this symphony twice and i absolutly LOVE IT!!!!!
@cubsrule2040 NO! You must be kidding. He doesn't pay attention at all to ANY of the separations and doesn't emphasize the dynamics ENOUGH (at least not in the strings). Especially with the accompaniment. Don't get me run it's not bad at all. I've just heard so many better versions.
SHAME! At times this orchestra sounds steller and other times like am All State High School honor orchestra in the US (A good one, not a lousy one). Especially can't keep it together at 3:09 and so forth. Theres just something missing in this orchestra that I see in others. That certain "umph" and personal rythmic responsibility. This orchestra has ALOT of potential.
I'm rediscovering this symphony... I played it 3 years ago with my youth orchestra, but I was 13 and I don't think I appreciated it fully. I really enjoy this performance.
Awesome interpretation! I doing this piece as part of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra in Portland, Oregon and I got selected as principal clarinet!
Oh really.... How old are you? If Dudamel teaches you,and he's 27, then you must be very young!! And you're great!!! I could play with this group.... I'm 15.
I love this recording, definitely my favorite!!

If you like this, listen to Tschaikovsky's 4th in F-Minor. Time Signature of 9/8, and using Cromatisism

Excelente interpretacion Manuel ,tomando nota de que en America Latina no siempre hay las condiciones optimas para esta clase de presentaciones.
Mis sinceras felicitaciones.
