Like I said, if the cat's nails are properly trimmed it doesn't hurt at all. My cat often jumps up on my lap and starts to knead, and it doesn't hurt at all. Before I started clipping his nails I couldn't even have him standing on my lap.

I don't know if that cat's nails are trimmed, I'm just saying it doesn't have to hurt. We don't know if it hurts her or not.
