  • On the last rise when dough is in the bread pan do you cover again with plastic or towel?

  • I Love French Bread!

  • great recipe esp for when you overcook the rice or have some left over Are you sure those are table spoons and not desert spoons, even desert spoons seem like a lot of salt ?

  • @ahamatmabrahman Because of the rice I find this recipe needs lots of salt. I admit that I probably like more salt that most people. Adjust to your own taste! :-)

  • Hello, Thanks for your great bread posts! Can you tell me what the capacity of the glass measuring cup is that you used to put water in the flour mix?

  • @dek98604 I use a 4 cup measure. Hope that helps!

  • you use wheat flour instead of rice flour?

  • @shiuchungvk Correct. You need the gluten to hold it all together.

  • Hi netman, is this gluten free recipe?

  • @poolking36 No, I am afraid not. I usually use bread flour which is high in gluten. I have yet to create a satisfying gluten free bread. I keep trying!

  • Hey, there's a name for 'rice mush'... it's called congee! It's pretty much the Chinese version of Jewish chicken soup... as in ultimate comfort food/magical cure for any ailment you can think of. Just thought you might wanna know! =D

Bread looks fabulous btw, thanks for the recipe! Will definitely try with potatoes and cheesey bits... mmmm

  • :)

  • I really like your videos. Are you going to do more bread vids?

And another question, Can you be my dad?

  • Thanks for sharing your recipes with us.

  • I used oatmeal instead of rice and followed this recipe. The bread came out really great! I have also made the french bread and that too came out really good. I did not realize baking bread was so simple. Thank you for sharing both the recipes.

  • @Setofplaylists That's exactly what I do. I use various other grains instead of rice. Try potatoes too!

  • You can use brown rice of course.
