why even the director has to be so apologetic saying OH:::THIS IS NOT SOLELY A GAY MOVIE BUT COULD BE UNIVERSAL. This sucks. What is wrong with being only a gay movie? Nobody says things like that for a movie with straight leads!!!

because that would be too inclusive. of course he would want the majority of the audience to feel that they can relate to the movie as well, not just the gays. you're reading too much into it.

If Ang Lee's Film is about STRAIGHTS, no one would be talking about it because it is certainly not going to be another 'Titanic' Film!
Anyhow, Ang Lee's filming skill is still very One Dimension at best! Maybe, he should be making the Future Lesbian Film some where down the road soon!
BTW, if TYPECAST is how to describe the ACTOR and ACTRESS, what's the WORD for the Director?
