i still wonder how developed the Yugoslavia was (I´m from the Czech Reupblic, that was a comunist country, too)...and today, we hire serbian engineers for their high skills. Well, i can understand the desire of former yugoslav nations to have their own states, however, the Yugoslavia would be one of richest states in Europe today, if there wasn´t the war and the split into several states.

Of course they couldn't have done so if they hadn't had the help of their only- too- willing- puppet Croats, muslims and Albanians. Depends how much do you want to recognize or globalize. I met both Serbian and Croatian language and it is not just in the e/je/ijekavica... also the words differ - another example: me, being Moravian (hello Czech republic), speak also a a little different language then Bohemians, Slovaks, but we understand each other with no problem. If there is a misunderstanding, it is a question of words. But when you do not want to understand you can speak even one language..... but that is another story :)

slovaci i cesi imaju drugaciji pravopisni i gramaticki system a to nije slucaj izmedju srba i hrvata.Mi svi jos uvek koristimo Vukovo pismo postujuci sve odredbe Becke konvencije o jedinstvu jezika iz 1850 tako da te price o nekim razlicitim jezicima uvek padaju u vodu :)
