can somebody clarify exactly how this thing works? it's just a touch screen midi interface right? all the sound is coming from elsewhere. Do you have to program your own interfaces? or does it come with ready-to-go premade interfaces? can you program them straight from the machine or do you have to use a computer?

Biopharmer... this is a touch screen midi controler. it comes with ready to go templates, but u can also create ur own by using a software called "jazz editor" after u create a template in there, u can load it to Lemur and... rock on! btw.. the jazzmutant editor is sooo easy that a 10 yrs old kid can make a template there... not hastle at all. cheers!
