  • Just get a Mac Pro, save yourself the hassle of upgrading your components and graphics cards man.

  • @TheTweeker79 Yeah bro. And then when the components are shitty you just spend the 3000 on an entirely new computer instead of the 200$ to update one component.

God you're an idiot. No, a Mac is not always top-of-the-line no matter what.

    Cost of a high-end Mac:

    Laptop: 1700.

    Desktop: 2400-3000

Cost of HIGHER THAN THAT-end Windows-Native:

    Laptop: 600-1000

    Desktop: 700-2000

  • I have 256mb in my laptop, gamers use 2-3gb of vram in their graphics cards

  • Why did you even make this video? You're such an idiot.

Then again, why did I watch this video... oh yeah, because I thought maybe you had something useful to say.

Holy shit, you have 40 videos? WTF... less time on youtube, more time learning something would be better.

  • i use a 46" lcd on my wall above my desk straight out from my laptops hdmi workds slick

  • 憤怒 koller@web Recording Studio

  • Dvi.

  • ginger

  • just so you know, most dvi can support dual monitoring right from one connector.. just need to check your specs mate

  • po ai ta muicho escuro

  • my asus core 2 dou gameing laptop cant keep up with my cubase projects, so im getting a custom desktop, intel mobo and i7 2600k bassed with 8gb ram, so pumped

  • 56 likes and 56 dislikes...:D I'm breaking this tie now!!! ....ehh fuck it.

  • no most games now use 1gb ram on there cards

  • 4 screens at the moment ...

  • huh... i'm 66666 watcher :D

  • The higher RAM the better, I suggest 1gig and up for Pro Tools, especially if you use Waves plugins being that they hog on video resources.

  • Nice set up..

  • who says you can't make music on a pentium 4?

  • wow man ur rly smart with the hardware

  • whats thaat program your using\

  • hey come on i got a acer

  • so i need two graphics cards?

i got one hdmi plugin and one VGA RGB

  • @TheWorldIsJustanEdit Just one

  • I actually run 3 myself. Just braggin.

  • nvidia 8800

  • cooll...am using intel DG45ID with HDMI port.. what would you prefer to me?

  • Silly

  • If you're not even knowing that most graphic cards have two monitor outputs, what the hell do you want with a homestudio?

  • no anti static rist band 0_o

  • BASTARDO . ELIMINA THIS VIDEO .NO RESPIRARE MENTRE PARLANDO

  • I have 2, 1GB cards. O-o

And not all cards have both DVi, and VGA. Some bave two VGA, two HDMI, ect, ect.

One a side note, you should be using your DVi as primary, VGA isn't as good quality.

  • This video really doesn't help. most computers bought recentl are powerful enough to run dual monitors, even most laptops, instead of making people pay for something that's only really important for gaming, show them how to actually set it up. cool studio though man.

  • google gtx 590 thats what u need .....

  • can you have three screens

  • @Antweezys you can really have as many as you want

    imagine having about 5 monitors

  • huge, huge, awsomness

  • from right to left...

    S-Video....DVI....VGA

  • @TheTechNerd101 left to right maybe?

  • @TheTechNerd101 i was about to say so myself

  • @TheTechNerd101 *left to right

  • @TheTechNerd101 VGA is in the middle

  • It's VGA and DVI dude.....

  • "so if you have a projector or a very fucking huge TV that you use.." your awesome man..:)

  • Very surprised to see my studio used as the thumbnail for this video. Hahaha! But you should check out an app called "Skootch". It automatically sizes the Pro Tools Mix and Edit windows on the monitors for you at the click of a button. So no more manually re-sizing and re-positioning the windows to each screen!

  • good channel...but loose that "like" word

  • VERY helpful dude cheers!!!

  • My graphics card only supports one... Why the fuck does it only support one?! It even has options for 2 monitors! DAMN YOU INTEL HD GRAPHICS!

  • @theif519 ROFL intel :D get a cheap one from nvidia, most of them have two outputs :)

  • So i need a DVI cable, where does it plug into? Or are they VGA on one end cause i have no DVI on my monitors.

And can you get DVI cables at any PC store?

  • 1gb (or higher) vid card for the win (who uses 512mb xD)

  • coudent you just get a VGA Y Splitter and plug one side in to the vga port on the back of the computer then plug 1 end of 1 vga cable in to 1 of the ends on the y splitter what is in the back of the computer and the one for the other screen in the other part of the y splitter

  • Hi there CJD could you actually share a plans of your desk so i could make it for my planned home studio?

  • you have a good set up here man but your both construction is driving me crazy! my want to construct it right one day but im a perfectionist and i work in a commercial studio. but your vids catch my eye because it works and the stuff you guys crank out isnt bad. btw as far as this topic goes im running x2 27in monitors because i like the mixer screen of protools blown up as well as the track list. thats what i have in my house

  • The white plug is DVI, and is higher quality than the blue one which is VGA (old and outdated).

  • What software do you use for yout dual monitors????

  • @TheSAHProductions there is no software dummy

  • @TOGtv1 yes there is it is the monitor software each and every graphics card comes with it i play on 3 screen but yes it does have software

  • dooope

  • lol the black circle is a s video cable its good for low quality stuff not high lol

  • Your back... it's been months!
