  • -Gelato isn't Vegan?

    -It's milk and eggs, bitch...

  • i want to know how to get it creamy without stabilizers.

  • Wow muscular !!!! ;)

  • fuck this is making me hungry

  • whats the difference

  • @QofLife69 it's made at a higher temperature, so ice crystals don't form and its smoother. and people pay 4.50 for it because of that

  • I tried gelato when I was in Macau, I don't know if it was the flavor I picked, but I didn't like it much... Chocohazelnut... Okay, just now I realized I don't like chocolate ice cream / gelato...

  • Omg I love his accent:)

  • 2 girls 2 cups 00:04

  • @xzxlevixzx

    Oh my! Haha.

  • guys i want me some rasberry gelato

  • Milk and eggs bitch.

  • @sandrodream1 I'm guessing your Italian and show your pride for Italian food with a superiority complex. I wasn't arguing about the greatness of Italian food. I was arguing someone saying that when you make Italian food all of the ingredients must come from Italy. When the Tomato itself is not from Italy.

  • i heard about this stuff from my friend who visited italy from what i hear its better than ice cream. i wanna try it !

  • WHY GELATO IS SO EXEPENSIVE???? I'm gonna tell you:

    1. is made with milk and we don't put "air" like icecream so you buy cream and not air!!!

    2. Gelato is Italian, the ingredients come from ITALY, in EURO!!!! and shipped to USA!!

    3. Americans think just about money and not quality!!!!

We can lower the price and use cheap ingredients....if you're happy with that!

(After doing that you'll look for "THE BEST") Fix the brain!!!!

  • @MrsTruemouth ha............ in indonesia gelato only $.1 here, we have lot of cream, 905 gram of high quality or fine heavy cream have price only $2... haahhahahaha

    Ingredients can be found everywhere

    2 cups milk

    1 cup heavy cream

    4 egg yolks

    1/2 cup sugar

oh ye and coca is not grow in italy, my country indonesia is number 3 and italian need buy coca from our country hahahahahhaah

  • @MrsTruemouth I'm sorry but only because Gelato originates from Italy doesn't mean the ingredients come from there. That would be ridiculous because world cuisine Sushi, Tacos, Pizza, etc. are the best when made with local fresh products.

  • @3Storm I'm sorry for you! You don't have any idea, how to make it! Fresh product? where???? Actually, Pizza is not the real one, second your tacos are not tacos, (ask to a mexican!) Where do you think Pistacchio come from? and what about hazelnut?

And the chocolate??? Whata are you talking about?

  • I LOVE GELATO ITS THE BEST!!!

  • This is not even closed to real Gelato, give me a favor....go and try with pizza!

  • capos , con todo el respeto del mundo y sin menospeciar su esfuerzo ,

no tiene presecia el helado en las vasquetas ..

  • that stuff looks way better than that regular ice cream crap.

  • Really people??? Gelatos here in Shanghai only cost like 15Rmb for a cone...... thats like $2 USDollar

  • italians do it better

  • luv dis shop I GO every birthday of mine ( JUNE 2ND I"M IN THERE) I am friends with the owners ! You know your a true Argentinian when you eat anything dulce de leche but your even a Real Argentinian when you get the mate helado "proud nyc argentinian gelato fanatic"

  • making gelato means everything to me my great grandmah made me my first chocolate fudge it tasted like shit but it was homemade ive been to cones an it tastes the same keep up the good work guys i look up to u>)

  • yeah what's with gelato costing so much? I mean 1 oz of gelato is like $2.99.

  • tube, thats why all these gelato places go bankrupt. They overcharge. They dont understand that they could sell a thousand times more gelato at 1.99 than at 3.99. Instead of having lines out the door, they opt to shut their doors. They never learn.

  • I don't understand that business sense, 30percent....that's really dumb of them because I'd rather sell 1million for $1 than sell nothing for $3.99...lol

  • @TubeGuest5178 its because gelato is much more expensive to make! Ice cream and yodurt are made mainly with artificial flavors! Quality is what your paying for...

  • It is ice cream. Just...different ingredients.

  • no its the same ingredients just different amounts.

  • I love gelato but think it's way over-priced. $4.95 for a small cup? Insane! Lower the price and increase your customer base by 2,000%

  • As an American, I have no idea what a gelato is. Is it the same thing as ice cream? In Seattle, we only eat ice cream. We don't eat gelato.

  • Hi, I am from Ohio, but while I was in Seattle in September, I went downtown Seattle to Gelatiamo's. It is a couple blocks up from the Market...check it out. The gelato is exceptional. It is a little pricy at $4 per small cup. Definitely worth trying once though.

  • @HunterMann i get what you're saying, but hey, you pay for quality right :D

  • @HunterMann that is expensive, at my local store the gelato costs .89 for a pint

  • well yeah no shit its a milk based instead of cream so its 30 to 40% less fat, not to mentio sorbetto is dairy free, no pesertives water, sugar and REAL fruit juices.

    if anyone got some beef

    hit us up

    best gelato in the World

    in ST>AUH

  • Gelato is so much better than normal ice cream.

  • @ivanahumpalot420 oh hells yes.

  • @ivanahumpalot420 What's the difference between gelato and ice cream? I always thought gelato meant ice cream

  • its denser, less air, less fat, should be natural flavours stabilisers and emulsifiers but not always. gelato does mean ice cream in italian, but it defines a production technique as well, in italy you can buy ice cream and they call it ice cream. eg ben and jerrys is called ice cream not gelato.

  • @russellhogan I see... just.. one thing. I am Italian, and what made me ask what I asked you is because over here everything is gelato... there's no "ice cream", just gelato! And sorbetto, alright, but that's another thing. So apparently in English ice cream and gelato mean two kinds of frozen dessert. I see. it's all gelato, here. Which, by the way, can be literally translated with "frozen"

  • @ivanahumpalot420 It is good but that Haggan Daz us something serious too!!!

  • haha, "look at me, I'm very fat.."

  • cool!! 250 flavours! it must be hard to choose!!

  • Is the arm pit hair from ic cream maker Alejandro Atampi complementary?

  • It gives the gelato a certain topnote.

  • According to the NYC Health Dept. Food Handler guidelines, chapter 18, article 7, rule 14-A "All uncovered arm pits must be vacuumed-to-be-free-of-loose-hairs prior to each 8-hour kitchen shift. If shaved, arm pit hair can be grown to a length of 1/4 inch before any vacuuming is required. This applies to men only. Women with long arm pit hair may simply braid it. Dreadlocks are not advised." I say, leave Alejandro alone, but wearing hair nets on his arm pits would be a nice touch.

  • YuuuuuuuuuMMMMMM.....

  • this is argentinian gelato the best ever ! it's great to be argentinean

  • i LOVE gelato!!

  • pssh.. big deal La Casa Gelato in vancouver has over 500 flavours!!

  • I think the best gelato is in Florence; you can't judge quality by the number of flavors. However, I don't think I've ever tried a gelato I didn't like:)

  • this is a good vid. i'd like to see more vids of NY and all its stores and restaurants.

  • This is an interesting segment- keep it up amny.

We need to read/hear more about average NYC lives, I

d like to hear more about regular NYC folks trying to make a living.

Ill have to visit cones, their product looks delicious.
