I have to fly back home on Southwest all the time and take it from me.. people don't pay attention to the safety procedures anyway. Actually, it makes perfect sense if you take a moment to consider what I said instead of firing a knee-jerk reply. These girls are cheering in loud voices; it makes a lot of sense that, since they are yelling themselves, anything being said is going to be obscured to some degree. I imagine that they are catching some of it and are also excited by what he's doing, but are not necessarily taking in all of the content. That's what I mean.

first of all I was in the navy and I was not an officer. But you have to admit that he had the initiative to do this for his job and pride in doing it for his company. Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Shipmate. If you honestly think survival instincts did not work for people even when a plane was crashing. How about the plane that went down in PA. You forget. There are good people out there doing their best to make other peoples lives better in some way and you have to knock it.

My friend, I will never "forget the plane (United #93) that went down in PA!" I personaly knew all the flight attendants and pilots who were killed that day and i knew and flew with the the pilots who's plane was flown into the second trade building.(and flew with them the tuesday before 9-11.) I departed out of EWR morining of the 10th. It is in part, in their honor, I take the safety announcement and passenger safety very seriously. 9-11 changed the game. It's not a joke any more!
