  • so nice!

  • Since when did Ron Jeremy have such an awesome voice?

  • 42 years later these guys are still at the top of their game. now im only 18 but i was raised with these guys always playin on my dads stereo! my dad says when i was a baby my favorite song was "Cant Stand the Slaughter". now its "Sparkling in the Sand". and foREVer will be "Sparkling in the Sand". lol

  • Rocco - the heart of the matter!

this is a more laid back version than i'd found, but they hold the pocket like nobody

  • It's one thing to be in a band and completely another to lead that band. Leaders are leaders on and off the stage. The problem with so many so called "leaders" of bands is that they only want to pose in front of people as the leader. When it comes to really leading a group of people, most are inept and morally corrupt. Not so Emilio Castillo.

  • @chungiemunchin Who was the leader of Tower of power ?

where is Emilio Castillo from ?

  • @Fili2009able

i am not 100% sure, but i think Emilio and Stephen Kupka are the leaders

and Emilio is born in detroit

  • @chungiemunchin Emilio started the band. I always assumed he was the leader but the gentleman who responded by adding Doc to the list has caused me to pause.

  • listen CRAZY FUNKY by minicillo

  • LOVE THIS SONG SOOOOO MUCH!

  • 2:46 emilio laughin.. :D unbelievable.. hahaaaaaaa

  • Soooooo groovy! Unbeatable... long live T.O.P.!!

  • Fine sax solo by John Scarpulla

  • Yeah man, it's respectable! But it don't really compare to David Mann playin' on the original "Souled Out" album! This guy is far less refined.

  • Haha i was at this show, didnt even remember they filmed it for tv.

  • Herman Matthews is obviously a student of funk and soul. This groove and tempo is straight out of the original grooves of JB.

  • Great song, but painfully slow. This is one of their best songs and its lack of tempo unfortunately takes all the life out of it!

  • I don't agree; they could do another, quicker take, but the tempo and groove are fine here.

  • he looks weird without his glasses. its the normal speed though

  • This was somwhat painful to watch.

The song is performed at about 1/3 the speed that it should...or has been.

Throughout the whole video, I was saying .... "Come on...Speed it up!"

Emilio looks 50 lbs heavy than he does today.

    And....There's only 1 Tof P drummer....Dave G.

  • yeah...Emilio looked heavy in this clip. He looks a lot better now though.
